Actually it’s the other way around the females just get bigger flowers but the plants themselves are much larger than the females, I thought the same too for awhile ps but like @Upstate said abuse the shit out of them I leave them in 1 gallons almost there whole life except sometimes I’ll choose some that find there way to 3 gallons but those are usually the special pure sativas
