Keeping Sativas small with Upstate

I’ve been doing the same.

I went through them today and have 8 green females and 10 varying amounts of green to purple expressed.

I want to thank Upstate for this thread and everyone else’s help.
As a procedure to keep them small I think I might have achieved it.
What do you think?

I’m at 9 1/2weeks. 2 weeks since transplanting into 3gal.
All my females are around 32" tall

They have stalled, started to alternate and the side branches are catching up to the apical.

I just wanted to ask how things were looking?
Do I seem to be on track for the method?
My plan is to try and hold them here and then upot 1 last time to 7gal when the time is appropriate.

Last question, is it preferred to not top them if possible?

Thanks
