do that as you please . Me it all depends on strain and if I want to see natural structure 
I’ve noticed that the ones that “spin” like how the alternating branches aren’t straight across from each other and the sides catch up to the top like this one here
It’s really not necessary and if I know one is the Christmas tree structure I usually top those , usually just depends on the strain
