Keeping track of seeds

I called it phenobase ^^ It’s also storing phenotypes on a weekly timeline.

It’s in prod’ so i don’t work much on it, like i should lol I’m actually trying to put it on a server, it’s just forms with basic links to the Db. Since seedfinder is fucked up, it pushed me to rationalize the whole. I’m more sysadmin than dev, as fuck, wish me good luck :rofl:

I do this with dark amber 10 ml vials, then I have a corresponding index card to each as well as a master list. I would have liked to start a spreadsheet now but now I’m wishing I had done it from the start due to the amount of data entry. I am one of those personalities who gets into something and really goes down the rabbit hole. With seeds, I didn’t take a peek in the hole, I dove in, and haven’t even started my first grow until we move. I’ll have to look into cryo vials, they seem interesting.

I decided to start an excel spreadsheet.

Downside is I’m starting to realize just how many packs I have.

You have a sharp mind sir!!!

Dont call it a crappy crop your already one step ahead of that one guy who buys all those packs of seeds and doesn’t even grow hell he dont even barely smoke but he buys packs and collects them like baseball cards in a trophy case and will never grow those beans.It isnt even refrigerated :rage:

It is most of my grow Mr. Cap and it has nothing to do with other breeders or beans, I’m struggling with my small grow space issues but still manage to get something out of it. Sorry for the confusion or misunderstanding. Peace in

@Fuel You made this?

How does it work & how can anyone get a copy.?

For everyone els:

I used to use cryogenic vials with numbers on bottle+cap, then that number would correspond to a notbook file with name, parents, type and anything extra that i needed to know.

Ive since stopped doing this for the most part , now just have a “junk drawer” of packs in the Orginal form. If I dont go looking through it, I might even know I have it. I should probably fix that :thinking:

It turned out making a simple spreadsheet based on my word doc wasn’t too much of a lift. The real question is whether I ever use the spreadsheet version… I’m used to the word doc and it’s more pleasant to look at.
