What up OG, I wanted to post my pics and story about my grow journey. I’ve been reading about growing for years and would even try to save seeds but never do anything with them. I’ve been messing around for about 4 years now. I’m going to start off by saying I’m a little bit of an unorthodox grower because I’m not big on every practice that is used today. I’ve been testing out what I can get away with and I’ve been starting to see some nice results for my last few grows. Feel free to post your plants also if you feel it relates to the story or whatever.

This is from my first grow around 4 years ago, as can be seen, I definitely over did it. I didn’t think I would run out of space but I was aware it could double in size, as it did lol. It was all random bag seeds from different bags. I was able to harvest something but everything was mostly unfinished and most of it was pretty unenjoyable. The only thing that I got out of this run was a lesson to make sure to switch earlier.

This is a run that was a little after my first , I found some seeds in some bud I liked and I tried to grow them. I was very happy with everything throughout the run until I came across a situation. I take care of dogs sometimes and some dogs are smarter than others. Sometimes dogs can open doors. I hear a door open and my first thought was my plants. No worries , I should have the lights off and the tent closed. I started to hear chewing and zippers moving . This dog was able to open my tent and split my plant down the middle. I was devasted but taped her up and hoped for the best. She actually healed up nice and I was able to harvest. On top of everything I was happy the results considering everything.

This was another bag seed that I liked , I didn’t really take good care of her because I was working in kitchens and I would come home dead all the time. The good thing about that is I had her cloned but I finished my run and got some nice buds out of her. I wanted to keep her around because this is what I got for free. At this time I had a roommate that I was helping out. He was good guy but heavy alcoholic and into drugs but was supposed to be clean. One day I stepped out for 30 minutes, maybe 40, my entire room is trashed my tent is destroyed with glass everywhere and my roommate, in the middle of my room ,face down on the ground . I called 911 , tried to do what I could do but there was nothing I could do and he was dead. He had a drug binge and needed more money or something , that must of put a strain in his heart and killed him. Very sad but I was fucking shitting my pants because I had EMTs In my house and police outside. They wanted to go through that room but I was like no not possible and they let it be. My tent and my plants were destroyed but lights made it out ok. This is where I take a little break for a few months for many reasons.

So now it’s been a little while, my girl is smoking and she says she finds a bunch of seeds in some good bud .I get that urge to grow again. I don’t have a tent anymore and I haven’t been extremely happy with my results so I wanted to try some new things and fix some areas that I knew were messing me up. I decide for this run let’s skip the tent. I live in a hot humid climate and my lights get hot so no good . I also wanted to try living soil for this run. My plants have been looking very happy with minor issues and I should hopefully be done very soon.
This plant is suppose to be truffle pop or truffletini and I’m assuming that it seeded itself because one of my plants hermed also . It’s lineage is suppose to be tropic truffle X red pop.

Ya I have been busy so I haven’t updated this yet but its curing now and I did try a tester and was pretty happy. She did herm on one plant because of light leaks so it could have been a little prettier I think, but I have another run going on now.

Like you I ran bagseed my first runs, this is my first grow with actual genetics I’ve known.

Thanks and Ya he had a tough life, we were really cool thats why I was helping out but addictions are a messed up thing , Im sure he is at peace now.
Im running a tester right now also from over here but there isnt much known about it yet, I got some high hopes for that. Then I got some other seeds that I have a little more info on so these runs should be really cool for me.

Thank you bro, Ill send a dm now. Ya OG has been awesome so far. I dont like social media and this is the first time I actually feel active in an online community and on top of all of that, I have learned so many new things on here already that I want to try out.

OG is the anti social media social media. Please include preferences in DM. Avoid autos would be my advice. They’re different. Better to learn photos first.
