Landrace breeding, a road less traveled

Or could be a 1:1 just only selected for flowering times for a few generations probly. All it takes is the one cross with heavy selection in one direction

But imagine if they selected for buzz and not even worried about speed :face_with_monocle::thinking::flushed::exploding_head::face_holding_back_tears::melting_face::melting_face::melting_face::melting_face::grin::rofl::joy::rofl: for real though it change your prospective on breeding and whats what real quick  it hit me like a ton of bricks some years back especially when i found out most of the 90s “legends” where a fkn hermie bag seed :smirk::wink::grin::rofl::joy::rofl:

Then i had a realization that the only way to make what i think are the best selections  i gotta go to source, and thats what got me down the landrace journey and honestly now i wont work with anything else period

Try out aces honduras, best anxiety relief I’ve experienced. Keeps you from melting down. Not good for executive dysfunction/ getting stuff done though

I have found nothing else that compares  honestly and humbly hands down . This is why the smoke reports from the 70s are mind blowing :face_with_monocle::exploding_head::smirk: just saying

70’s Peshawar . By 79 it was gone in Afghanistan.

Yup. F1.

Consider yourself invited.

Before the 1936 Marijuana Tax Act, 80% of all pharmaceuticals contained cannabis ingredients. What the government did then, was to ban real medicines, and to replace them with lab made chemicals that often don’t work as well, or when they do they work as well, only mimic what God and Nature, with the help of humans, had already perfected, but with added side effects and a high pricetag. It was one of the first steps to taking away our freedoms.

I think most of the famous Hawaiian strains are sativa indica hybrids( longflowering x shortflowering). Since the original glory days, when the f1 and other early generation versions were around, many have bred for the Afghan lineage. 71 Kandahar was the preferred Afghan

Landraces!!! Currently working on some Acapulco gold from the 70s and 80s. After that project, I plan to do a cross with a Jamaican landrace, and a 47 year old strain with possible origins from my state. I also have a South Pacific sativa im dyingggg to break into, so yeah, heavily interested in what our forefathers smoked.

I like the plant growing next to the log. Very Zen. Integrating the plant into the natural landscape is visual poetry.
