Landrace Expansion & Trade

they look to me like a Lebanese line that was never a neglected, but always selected for more potent plants, or maybe just happened to avoid the hemp pollen floating in the area. They look real nice in the pictures. Indoors or outdoors with these?

I got room but would hate to ruin 300.00 plants on my first seed run…:frowning:

I’ll be rolling them indoor. I hope you’re right! I also hope they’ll be fast like Lebanese.

I think these are really interesting because Syria is a highly isolated place, so the landraces should be very well insulated from outside contamination.

No doubt. Should be much better insulated than other Middle Eastern genepools, ( except Sinai) you would think. . I doubt many strainhunters have been running around Syria spreading kush

Me too, but how would you know if it was? They’re on IG too, https://www.instagram.com/brazilseedco/, if that means anything. I’d gamble $30 on them, so all we need are a few gambling junkies in withdrawal, and a grower to do the run.

They’ve got some other listings, an original “piff” Haze, a pure Michoacan landrace, a 1980 Kandahar, and several others. Some are reasonably priced, the Haze is $100, but the Mich and Kandahar, are both $250.

Too much IMO. I can point you to some Kandahar for like $45-60. CBG has Michoacan right now, and they’re like $50. I will also likely drop some haze this year to the site, probably either for trades or server fund. Might have it in me to do another seed run this year, but I’m not gonna get ahead of myself.

I agree Syria is a very isolated part of the world and it’s been threw hell sense those seeds were collected , defiently should be preserved I doubt to many people will be collecting seeds from there again any time soon. Very awesome your growing these out.

That puzzled me too. I assume - 10 seeds per Pkg?

That needs to be qualified before ordering!

The other Jamaican associated with Marley was “collie” not coo-coo. Ace has some Jam x Nepalese. Yeah can’t make a pair out of 1 - 300.00 seed…lol

I got some Jamaican lambs x blue mountain from swgenetix. Exotic alchemy has some pure lambs up with a IG bank. Try here: https://www.instagram.com/p/B_LJ8u-BMl5

Yeah I heard of Blue mountain too, sound like a great cross. I think the Brazilian said it was gathered from one of the Rasta Collectives.

He’s got some nice stock too, not on Instagram, you know what prices are?

I’d be interested in some of the Blue x lamb for my stash…pm me when you get a minute @lefthandseeds.

How common is a double seration on leafs? My Thai is exhibiting it midway into flower.

Cool mod. Haven’t seen that before!

That would be an awesome trait to affix to a whole generation. Seems about as common as whorled phyllotaxy, but I’ve never seen any data on the subject.

Only seen it on one plant “orange gogi razor cut” and its rampant in that plant. Kinda cool, I have 4 cuts of her in re-veg, think it’s a keeper

It’s not real common, but not super rare in my experience.

I’ve got two strains exhibiting that right now. One’s an Orange Goji, here’s the other (it’s really common in this particular line due to selecting parents that both show the trait).

The Jamaican Blue Mountain was preserved by Spanish guys for years (80’s).

The Jamaican lambsbread is an old line (70’s) given to people of a collective by a rasta man which received it from Bushman. It is usually gifted to people that share the vibes.

The first company that made this cross was Underground Seed Company which obtained both parents from the source and called the progeny Double Jam.

Hope that helps

Thanks for the heads up. I can’t ever afford a $300 pack of seeds, but when I see something interesting I try to share it here, just to spread the news. And I figure if it’s bogus, someone will speak up. See?
