Clone from the more Sativa looking Panama Red. Has three branches per node, should I hold this clone as my mother? If I take cuts from it will they all exhibit this?

zacastecas tribute is from the grower Vermontman. He is pretty small fime compared to most. Also produced Purple satellite i think. Thye popped up on ACE twice last call and disappeared in a few hours. i jumped the second time and got some

Vermont man is nearly due east of me. I tried to hop on that oaxacan Cross of his. I don’t think he’s sold it pure yet has he? Massive nugs on them supposedly. Personally I don’t believe it is oaxacan. I think Vermont man truly believes it is, but I think it’s a first-generation hybrid from the early years of hybridization in Mexico. I would still love to have it! I just picked up oaxacan from cryptic labs.

They’ll usually spontaneously revert back to alternate phyllotaxy, but who knows until you try it, right?
Makes me wish Medicinal Genomics rolled off the tongue like Phylos did. They’re not cheap but crowd-sourcing the money to gather info might work.

I’ll have to see. I’m switching to ebb and flow after i finish with my current plants. I’m gonna start with some seeds i have a lot of first… I’d like to get one or two grows under my belt before i run anything that i have in limited amounts.
I’ll probably do another round of jungle spice to make F4s. And after that maybe inbreed a Panama haze bx to see how sativas go. And then I think I’ll be ready.

Well to be completely honest I don’t fully understand how many mega bases a person would want / need. Price goes up with the amount of data collected. I’ll link their page.
@lefthandseeds if you have any plants still in soil when you switch to ebb n flow, it’s no issue to gently remove the soil and switch em to hydro. Kinda like taking gigantic clones that already have a couple roots. I used to veg everything in soil and then repot into hydroton to flower, and they keep going like nothing ever happened.
Going from hydro to soil is a completely different story tho.

What time frame does that put you at when you’re finished with those projects? How is the Lenanese project coming along btw? That Panama Haze is supposed to be fantastic. Yr at f4?

Lebanese is going well. I found a few moms I really like. I like to grow the Lebanese, so I’ll probably just keep growing them, and mixing them until I’ve inbred and selected them to how i want them.
My jungle spice is currently F3, but @AllOra has already run them and made F4s. So I’m playing catch up later this summer. Then sometime next year I’ll do the F5 run and make a lot of seeds for the site. After that, I’ll start looking for the perfect pure sativa to mate with it. I think another Congolese, Mexican or Colombian will be what I start with. And even a few years later, when it’s an IBL, i have a pack of F1s squirreled away. I’m going to use the IBL as a male and cross it to the best F1 female i can find in the pack. So that’ll be fun to experience it again from the beginning.
The Panama haze IS fantastic. I debated buying more, but really I have the one I want. Mine is so hazy for a 12 week strain. They only come in fems, so I’m BXing mine right now. When i have Panama haze herb, it’s all i want to smoke. But i also found a few “hazy high” seeds in my stash from TSC, which is similar but Ciskei x OT Haze. So those might do well as a male, and only change the hybrid slightly.
All said, I’ll probably be on jungle spice and Panama haze through the year. Probably around January, I’ll be ready to open up some new genetics.
FML why do I keep buying seeds…

SILs and T5s. You were right, defoliation is the key to the kingdom. Sidelighting on the exposed areas. She clones pretty well. Got a mother I’m encouraging to branch.
Here are the boys. I have gotten more pollen from two little clones than from five other males combined. I kinda wanna flower these for the mess alone!
