Hi! I hope everything is going well with the state of the world we live in!, So this is my introduction and also my first post so please forgive me for the long text if I fuck up somewhere .
So I’m Ras, I’ve been growing a couple years and also I grew up on an old school grower house, so after some time trying different hybrids and stuff, I ended up falling in love with breeding, which I started doing it last year, also on the other hand, this passion brought me to another amazing world, the pure landraces and it’s preservation, so here I will explain my project.
My main goal is to preserve old strains which are not common nowadays(and idk why some ppl dont like them), currently I’m working on the preservation of siberian ruderalis(also I’m studying them for using it to create some autoflowering hybrids with more balanced cannabinoid levels, but also to have some plants that can resist cold well), but also on the preserv. of old pure sativas, these ones I dont got much, but I’m looking into getting some old strains like lambsbread(any help would be appreciated), I will be uploading the diaries here as a way to improve my work and share it to y’all(even though im a begginer in this field), so any comment is accepted!, also I’m looking forward to do some exchanges as soon as I get the first batch of this run.
The strain list that I’ve got rn related to this project is:
- Durban Poison
- Ketama(brought from there by a guy I know, rn trying to stabilize them, since there is not much pure ketama left there)
- Tropical mix from Ace seeds(not much of a pure landrace, but hybrids between them)
- Siberian Ruderalis from Khalifa genetics
Currently I’m looking for: - Jamaican landraces(lambsbread, jamaican blue mountain, etc)
- Colombian Punto rojo
- Mango Biche
- And any landrace tbh, I love them all
I will be giving updates on each of them, also I am open to collaborate on this type of projects and also open to get some collaborators, any help is appreciated.
Later on I will upload some photos of them
Best regards!!
