This is the weird one near auto of the Durban specials ,the top came out early from a bore worm and ants getting into it after , then it did this excessive flowering ,the other two in this grow are huge chunky flowers ,this one did its own thing …cut a tester off to dry see where it is real quick …

Just something I do to check with where the flower is at ,when I think it’s coming along that time I’ll cut a sample and dehydrate it in food dehydrator ,it ruins the structure turns to powder real easy after that …however you can either kiff what’s there or enjoy it as is …it’s not the full love of a good cure in no way ,but it’s decent measure to get a idea …also much like freezing the flower to get live rosin ECT or bubble hash you can dehydrate it and go straight to resin collect …weird perhaps yet it works fair …

The so called Durban F1 as they call it isn’t even Durban it’s a hybrid at best alot say cookies comes from cherry pie kush in reality but I entirely feel your sentiment though bud idk why people are stuck on dessert stuff I don’t find it very good either occasionally you will find the odd cross that’s a bit better but the people that only know this stuff don’t know what there missing even the older sweet/fruity stuff had more depth and character before this dessert shit showed up on the scene also your of the time that when someone said exotic it meant it came from a far flung land not some bagseed cookie/cakey thing sadly it’s not just north America either Europe and the UK it’s everywhere too it’s crazy the money some of the young team here pay for a bit of the same same over and over again it’s silly I blame social media for alot of it as well hyping it all up

It’s a shame that the commercial pressures are destroying the quality of the genetics and diminishing whatever medicinal value is present.

Landraces are the antidote from where I stand.

Exactly, I seek out true exotics, which is why i chose to have NZT49 (highland laos x Mango nigerian) and Kullu Valley flowering now.

Also boss-hoss-genetics did a true F1 hybrid with his NZT49. It smells pretty interesting so far.

If someone says exotic it better be a landrace or landrace hybrid of some sort imo. Usually sativas.

Thaidelica’s are going to be potted today possibly.

You got the nail on the head the landraces are the medicine ,and in the big world that’s billions of dollars up for the take so it is a personal belief big pharma would have a hand in this as they do own both sides of the lobby the pro and the con it’s all sadly working out in favor of pharma simply because of lack of knowledge out there and yes media plays a huge part .cancers ,tumours big money ,and they want it all …
