Paid 60 bux a year ago for Malawi during a special where you get free malawi and chernobyl seeds. I got nothing extra and only the promo seeds that were free with every order. Ok fine, people are desperate whatever.
None of the malawis had tails.
The chernobyls are in the cup longer than some random old seed i had in the fridge and still no tails.
I threw the free kazakstans outside since they are landrace auto ditch weed they can grow like one.
It’s my fault for ordering repro seeds from a nobody.
Make sure to ask age and storage methods.

That’s always a bummer, imm guessing they weren’t stored right before getting them or were bad to begin with. I noticed that a lot of seeds are older stock and years old and have popped many of seeds around 10 years old with no issues.

I put my seed stock into refrigerator asap to avoid this issue. Sorry you have to go through this!

I have had this issue numerous times in the past, as I’m an old fart and I have had my share of either subpar seeds i.e. old seeds, or due my own poor long term storage fuck ups.
In any case, what I have found what sometimes works is to soak for 36 hours in distilled water with a drop of Peroxide and one or two drops of Superthrive. After 36 hours take them out and put in saturated make up pads and put these in a baggie and put on a seedling mat. I set my thermostat on the mat about 85° and I can usually get one or more to pop. It’s not foolproof but it has saved my bacon on one or two, or three occasions.

How do you all recommend storing your seeds?
Dry n cure like your bud, then vile in ziplock in bag put bottom drawer fridge. Throw in those silica pouches in the bag for good measure.
I dont dry them out.
Rice or silica inside the vile plus no fridge is a fried or weak seed eventually ime.

Btw i had 5 left same shit popped them open all just barely embryo no placenta probably dried out. Good news is someone offered some free Malawis ill take offer for next year and i got 6 slymer S1 from trichome bros which ill try to cross with another limey but decent bid yield chemovar
