Landraces and heirloom (Part 2)

Timebread’s internal so it is clear that it is the Jamaican double from Upstate, and it is not the “double jam” from undergrowd seed that of JGL

Kashitral (Purple Chitral kush x Azad kashmir) is my double Pakistani, with red/purple flowers, with a soft, not sweet aroma of blackberries.

Tirah x Peshawar. It was made by Upstate between a female Tirah from Landracewarden and the Peshawar that Upstate has been working with for years. Interesting Pakistani/Afghan sativa cross.

All together it forms a small but beautiful patch

I think they are sexy as hell! If not what you are working towards I totally get it. I think it’s more of a jealousy because I haven’t seen that pheno expressed well yet.

The problem with long internodes is that in plants with the same number of nodes, those with longer internodes take up more height, which may not be a problem for others, but I am also looking for short internodes because they represent a genetic pool that I am interested in working with.

Awesome to see the Tirah x Peshawar. It looks like the Peshawar frame with Tirah branches. She’s going to bud heavy from the looks of it. @LandraceWarden will like to see his labors coming to bear fruit.
@Gpaw they are beautiful!

I see good vigor, I think its becasue of Hybridization of your Pure Pesh x Tirah BLD dom variant.
I like this cross, very sturdy and lots of secondary flowering potential. I am keen to see her in flowering, do remind me with the update.
@Arbac , what is the aroma from stems ?

Hi bro , the stems of tirah x peshawar smell a bit like pistachio mint. It’s a soft but very exquisite smell. Something quite special. Thanks to upstate for making this beautiful cross and thanks to you for rescuing that treasure that is tirah.

Kashitral (chitral x kashmir) my Double Pakistani, is one of the first to flower, here at 33° south.

Trimbakeshwar x punto rojo is still vegetative, I love its short internode, structure and branching.

Could you expound on this? Thanks

Some old Indian sativas with very narrow leaves and their offspring have very short internodes, close to two centimeters, you can see it in old school sativas, like jamiaca lambsbread, or like some Indian sativas in old photos. Almost all of them are related to affections that are seen less and less every day, these sativas withstand better the dry heat of the Chilean summer and the cold of the winter when they finish flowering. . but they also decrease a lot in size, for example this Trimbakeshwar x punto Rojo that I show measures no more than 1.4 meters and a non-selected sister of this plant, planted on the same date, that its internode measures four centimeters is already 2.3 meters tall and has less nodes than the one with short internodes. So that is a very big advantage if you do not want a neighbor or someone who should not see it to see it.

And would this also interpret into more bud?
