calmag or rootbound stress?

Always a safe bet to mix up a worm casting, powdered lime, guano, kelp meal to revive a plant…

Try liquid seaweed and worm castings

worm casting top dress helps buffer whatever you give it

worm casting tea and liquid seaweed good to get in there

we cant see whole plant…hows the rest lookin’?

The smooth round plastic pots are easy to deal with but they degrade

UV degrades plastic fast…never good in the long run

The polypropylene cloth bags @ least breathe and ā€˜air prune’ the root systems

I always use volcanic lava rocks or hydroton in bottom of pots…The plants will thank you!!!

You might try clay pots…I have a few conical clay pots that make good starter pots

Its very difficult to get away from plastic

Doing my best to phase it out… :sunglasses:

They are in pots I assume :face_with_monocle::thinking: and with your area/region bro I’ve seen root ā€œheatā€ stress cause all kinds of crazy looking stuff and will also cause the plant to up take a shit ton more N so I second what bro said

So a good broad spectrum feeding with enzymes and growth stimulaters and a little biology if you have it on hand and maybe buried pots are in order or at least some old white T shirts so they don’t get so hot

Brilliant! Semi-auto and cold tolerant, sounds ideal, I hope you find those, will keep a look out for your news from that trip, livin the dream…

Yeah, youre sun could heat up roots…and its high evaporation rate

Its good to have living mulch of crimson clover

some kind of mulch …anything to hold in some of the root zone temps

Biological activity loves other growing roots…as long as they dont try to steal the show from your plants

Crimson clover easy to control…good cover crop

Gonna use it end of this year on another garden to bring back the soil for next year

it can sprout in spring or fall…its good thing to use

Get the Lava Stones !!!

Plants seem to love rocks and natural things… :sunglasses:
