While you’ve heard it before, it bears repeating: The laws against cannabis and the resources dedicated to its eradication are inordinate, to say the least. I understand that the more densely packed matter is in a confined space, the less freedom of movement there is. Being composed of matter and energy, we’re subject to the laws of science, and our customs and criminal laws often reflect that. That all being said, and Japan being very densely populated, it’s easy to see how their laws and law enforcement being draconian. Such strict laws against a substance that makes people more cooperative and far less combative are beyond absurd.
It’s about money and power. Here in the States, most law enforcement want cannabis to remain illegal because it gives them a reason to fuck with people. It’s low-hanging fruit for them. Not only are low-level drug offenders far less dangerous (at least the ones involved in cannabis) on average, but it looks really good on a resume when they bust growers or anyone with more than what is considered “personal use.” Cannabis eradication and drug enforcement are a multi-billion-dollar industry. All of the stuff they use to fight the Drug War is expensive. Assault rifles* and submachine-guns cost $1000-$2000 apiece, and they have thousands of them. Each pistol can cost up to $1000. Then there’s FLIR, helicopters, armored vehicles, etc. That money doesn’t just disappear; it goes into the pockets of some very influential people, people who have bought their way into politics. Of course, Americans are puritanical enough to think prohibition is a good idea, and ignorant enough to think it works.
Sorry about the rant.
*An assault rifle is basically a weapon that fires an intermediate caliber (more powerful than a handgun caliber like 9mm or .45 but smaller than a full-power caliber like .308, 30-06 or 7.92x57 and has select fire (semi-auto and full auto or burst).
Fat leaves are common early on. Often they narrow with flowering.
It would have a nice yield. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe Balochi is one of the larger indica landraces. Plus, indica genes might reduce some of the racy effects of the Manipuri.
My goal too. A guy on Instagram had Idukki gold hash and said it was other worldly.
Dry sift with Sativa… It always had no effect - or close to none on me. I dont know why. But listen, there is a slight effect that is very heavenly. Like psychedelic heavenly, i still remeber it very vivid. But lasts 5 minutes and vanishes
Maybe it was not cured dry sift?
no it was stored. i know this well, the effect of dry sift is delicious x 100, but soft… and short.
What strain was this that you had little effect? Morrocan dry sift ( pollen)had a good rep back in the days before Paki genes were brought to Morroco and mixed with the local Sativa. The effect was an hour long intense high, with fast onset. A short high, though not as short as what you experienced.
The Eastern Manipur Burma have been on 12/12 for 14 days and are just now showing sex on all but one plant, so far all girls and one male. I topped them and kept them in small containers and there still stretching quite a bit, I’m hoping I can maintain them indoors for another 2 months and then let them finish in a light dep when warmer weather arrives.
From everything I’ve read this will be a 4-5 month strain. I’m making more beans on the best girl and will eventually cross her to my paki chitral kush male after this run
i spoke of dry sift unpressed. not pressed. after pressing it becomes potent, but why.
Its the most delicious tasting and effecting form of consumtion, just weak sadly.
Samskunkman prefferes dry sift over pressed hash, as the bursting of resinheads is not optimal in some aspects.
One of the most delicious forms of Cannabis i smoked was “Jelly Hash”.
dry sift worked into Oil.
If you avoid using much pressure, the “hash” looks light green. so you have the heavenly , but soft dry sift added to the oil wich gives it the strong effect.
Its magic , and much better effect than hash IMHO
The with hand rubbing, its the heat from friction that decarbs. With pressing, i don’t know why it becomes potent. Sword makers pound carbon from iron to make it stronger…does pressing “pound” out carbon?( decarb) how does that work?
@Heritagefarms sounds like they are coming along. Going to be a long one for you! They sexed pretty quick after The long veg. Hope you get some blue buds! Making more Manipur?
Any Uhkrul going yet?
your thoughts sound lightly overshadowing the fact that hash over time alone decarbs. No heat needed. I mean Flowers also decarb-
But i thought that unpressed Kief is very thin, it burns way faster and therefore creates higher temperatures? Looking at boilingpoints i see that THC burns at low temps, CBD middle Temps, and THCV per example at high temperatures.
Probably if heat is too high the Ingredients Burn out? Burn down , without beeing put to use? And Thcv survives it best…
Dunno
Yes I’m definitely making more seeds of it in pure form and the decarbing is actually the thca converting over to thc , this can be accomplished with heat and or pressure cracking the trichrome heads and speeding about the conversion.
it CAN be achieved with pressure, but you wanna tell me 1 year old Dry Sift isnt decarbed over Time?
That is absolutely true. I remember one time I went to my dealers house and he told me he was out of weed but he would sell me whatever was in his grinder. He scraped up a few grams of kief and sold them to me at regular weed prices and I was so happy. I smoked it and it was like half cbd. It was so old. It just chemically broke down over time.
noo. jesus. you people need to know what your talking about.
Wether i smoked kief after amonth, after a year also, wether it was indica, sativa, it always was weak.
And the same kief rubbed in hands was strong . But you cant explain it with decarbing. why is normal bud strong after a month… and why is there no possible way to get strong unpressed Dry sift?
I can make Dry sift from a Flower… The bud is already strong…
Then i take this bud and dry sift it, and suddenly its weak. Why?
