I don’t think I’ve ever seen it that green.

So cool man. I’ve only been out of the states a few times. I’m not much for flying. I did enough of it at one time. Lol damn helicopters. I’ve always wanted to go there. I’ve always wanted to go to Ireland and go to a pub and drink Guinness that’s my beer anyway. I’m a big Guinness drinker I do not care for the American version I do drink it out of the can. Now I’m jealous. No it makes me happy to see that kind of stuff all y’all thank you so much for sharing my brain is so plan sometimes I get enjoyment out of seeing other peoples stuff. Pictures scenery birds animals that kind of stuff. Old graveyards were my favorite at one time.

Love the photos.

Absolutely amazes me seeing the stonework and effort that must have been involved in building some of these ancient structures.

@Hemp you’d love it over here if you like drinking Guinness. Pouring the perfect pint is part science part art😅. I don’t drink myself, but have to admit the traditional pub culture is special.
Love trying to catch a nice pic of animals and plants when Im out too.

@Northern_Loki yeah the architecture is impressive for soo far back in time. The passage way into the burial chamber in the 1st big tomb, with thd white stone is aligned to the rising sun on the winter solstice, illumunates the chamber, still works.
I really love the pictographs, the similarities in the concentric type designs worldwide is cool, or the other common types footprints, hands etc.

@Hemp oh yeah we got in it as often as we could as kids, I would have a hard time fitting through the windows as an adult and am not as care free about what may live inside as I once was. It is a dredger, bucket is still attached to the cables, real old 2 piece bucket from before they started using hydraulics a bunch

Edit; I also own lots of fancy tools as an adult… Could cut the lock to the engine compartment now and get in the easy way just haven’t yet. It’s one of the very few spots that makes me feel close to my little brother so I’ve just visited for nostalgia the last few years. I actually cleaned all the broken branches from the one picture off the top cause it bothered me having it look haphazardly

It is one of the great places left. Did you go to Grand Lake? I always love that part of the trip. @saxo is that red flower called fire weed? @Foreveryoung i keep looking at those pictures. Thanks for sharing. I can’t imagine how life was back then. Lol I dream about it. Crazy how we lived. Now look how we do it now. I wander which was better. Just talking. I have a question for anyone. If weed was legal :100: world wide. Would you drive as much? Maybe stay at home more. Out door stuff. I’m sure. A goat or two to keep the yard clean. A donkey to keep predators away. I must be dreaming. No I’m not. One Love

I’m like you. Now that would be a cool place to find as a kid. Once I found a old Army armory or national guard something like that. It was very old. Had a bomb Shelter and stuff like that. It wasn’t abandoned very long it had just been shut down for a little while and then the county turned it into something else. It was fun. Had the old Mash looking Jeep’s with Red Cross on the back.

Oh yeah,

I’ve run into some interesting places when I was younger. Usually resulted in a combination of bewilderment, raw curiosity, and a healthy dose of being spooked.

A place like that is at a whole nother level.

I’ve never been there. Looks like a place I need to see though. Whether lake or ocean, I love being around water.

I’ll pull some more up tomorrow. These are old pictures. One of those pictures I walked for a few days to get to. It was cold at night. Lol. I was alone in one of them. I felt like I was being watched the entire time. I know it sounds crazy. But it’s hard to explain. I’m sure that why some peoples religious beliefs are high in the mountains. IDK lol . @anon20530495 I lived there a few times. It was so fun. I lived where I had to take my own water to drink. It makes you save money. A few places on the Park Way in VA. I was more of a Mt Man at that time. Lol. No cable and no phone. Had a gravity fed well. The Blair witch movie just came out. I had never heard of it. Let’s just say I didn’t watch all of it the first time. I thought it was real. Lol

With valley of colors you couldn’t even dream of. I’m sure you have been there. Even a walk in a meadow. With just the sounds of like. And some shroom. I didn’t say that. Lol. I seen some wolfs take a cafe from a cow. Didn’t look for the entire time.
