I wasn’t real sure but I’ve seen some places like that around at that corner of Utah and Wyoming. Right outside of Logan. I don’t remember it being a volcano there but I seen the water look like that in higher altitude. Definitely looks like you were on the airplane so cool. I have been in Montana a few times. Definitely one of the most beautiful states. There’s a whole story and national geographics about a farm there that started years ago when I was a kid and as I grew up I’ve seen the stories and this family grow with their farm. Hike from the 19th .been a while since to the ocean . Surrounded by it. But love my trips
No whale sightings this visit.

it is The Republic of Newfoundland

The site goes back to the 12th century, the 1st castle was built by the Normans, having conquered England in 1066, they made their way to Ireland.
What is standing now, is mostly from the 14th century.
Its usually not so overgrown, reckon its probably due to covid interupting maintenance.
I grew up in this area, as kids we could get into the castle, used to frighten the sh1t out of each other telling ghost stories.:sweat_smile:
