I use that same method for co2 except from the second jug I put 2 airtight hoses, 1 at bottom the other at top. then take top hose ,poke a hole in my fiber pot about three inches from bottom. I then put a little copper brillo in tube and push it under center of root mass. Going to use a six gallon grain mash next as I want to make some oil and prefer using my own shine. I also have to say that electro culture is fantastic. first time in 5 years no whitefly or aphids. I did add a few crystals at the top of my coils. no proof they help but they look cool. I am worried about internodal spacing as mine are so close together and PM is a problem here.
