Leave your tip to grow, What's your secret to grow your weed?

Any one else find adding silicic acid makes final product taste leafier ?

I used power si for 2 grows . I think I will keep it for babies and stop using it long before flowering for now on.

I love growing outside in dirt. Nature sends me some.little spiders and praying.mantis to keep every mite.and thrip away…they dont need so.much water or nutrients and are nearly.maintenance free.

Good genetics, good light, good nutrients.

Microbes, Enzymes, don’t over water. Cut out under growth and wispy limbs with 1 or 2 nodes and lollipop each plant.

That’s true. Heat and light are terms enemy. Ideal drying temp is 60-62 degrees. Of course that’s impossible in the summer but I’ve did it in the winter. And it was a huge difference in taste and moderate difference in potency. So the cooler the better. This grow going now will Chop around end of August so it’s impossible but I will get it as cool as I can.

I feel your pain:

I had the same problem. But our humidity swings wildly. I found a new dehumidifier on ebay that was new for a steal. Things have gotten better since because you can set it to what ever humidity you want and it’ll run automatically

Good tip here guys/gals.
I’ve been thumbing our beloved for 25+ years, 17 being organic, and can confirm first hand.
Strain dependant on flowering time if you add Sulpher 3-4 weeks before chop will see increased terp profiles on everything that you thumb.

Another good one is foliar spraying. Many thumbers are either not aware of the benifits, or are afraid to do so because of PM.

Upon the onset of pre flowers, try foliar spraying Triacontanol and high quality Fulvic Acid… The Triacantanol will give you’re baby’s a super metablism and they will go into overdrive. The Fulvic will increase the brix levels so its a win, win all around.

My recommendation is, is to not use the Triacontanol to much as this could potentially lead to deficiences. The fulvic however can be used more frequently.

I wont add all the secrets becuase it would take me far too long. But I will jump in from time to time to read other OG’s posts and add more tips and advice.

I was thumbing with GuanoKalongs full range for many years until I recently replaced it with a product made in England from a company called Ecothrive.

Heavy metal contamination would normally be associated with soil, not bat guano lol.
However, what I have discovered that some strains actually perform better without the bat guano, mainly the OG genetics. I’ve done side by side comparisons in the same environment which confirms my findings to a degree that I have now use beatle frass. This also contains something called chitin, which acts as a natural defense mechanism and triggers an immune response from our precious gals because they think they are under attack from insects.

Only thing I would advise with Guano of any type, is use a mask.

I ad 1gr per gallon of Gypsum diamond k brand. Coco can lock up calcium. Plants love it but you need to be watchful of potential MG deficiencies.

Other than forever working on my defole game and root health in general(i like to always really inspect roots after/during a grow)…One table spoon of 3% h2o2(hydrogen peroxide) in every gallon of water is something added lately. Not a secret but something that I personally had been overlooking. Ever wondered why rain water works so well? A small amount of h2o2 seems to go a long way…also great to use in small amounts as a PM prevention in foliar spray and in buckets to help wash fresh cut flowers. Other than that… Unicorn foreskin is a huge help in the last 2 hours before chop. Definitely some helpful info here, thanks and Happy growin Fam! :beers:

I just had one with one of my 6 clones in coco/peat/perlite I knew something was off. 8 days later yesterday I flushed that clone and micro-dosed. I’m pretty sure it was Cal lockout Peace

Stirred NOT shaken, I hope.

Oh good god, thank you my friend, that would have absolutely RUINED a few of our brother and sisters grows for sure.

Yes, always stir it! Shaking disrupts the micro-rainbows encased in the epidermis, and when all is said and done, thats what we’re really after here. As you know, I only resort to UF derived MR if I can’t find any of the DR(Dinosaur Vomit) you recommended and since the supply chains are all backed up, desperate times call for desperate measures.

Pro Tip- If one happens to run out of Micro-Rainbows mid grow, Homosapien foreskin actually has a very small amount that can be extracted “in a pinch” :anguished:
