Leave your tip to grow, What's your secret to grow your weed?

In a well ventilated area, you can use an ozone generator and air stone,
increasing the contact time between the ozone and water molecules by holding the water in a 3ft high container with the air stone at the bottom, so the ozone can be taken up by the water more efficiently. For this to work you would need an in-line ozone generator, but the cheapest ones will eventually fail you because of punctures in the container where the ozone is generated in (because ozone is highly corrosive combined with the pressure that builds up by a pump pushing ozone out under 3 ft of waterpressure)). This means you have to make sure you are always around and do a regular check-up on bubbling and for ozone leaks because ozone is also corrosive to lung tissue. You can smell it easily before the concentration in the air becomes very strong but I wouldnā€™t advise trying to push your boundaries, this is pure oxygen meaning it will corrode anything and everything, including your bodily tissues, meaning if you inhale it pure, you will cough up blood and in the worst case you could die. Should be needless to say, but donā€™t fall asleep with an ozone generator on.

This is the other important reason to use a container at least 3 feet deep and to always place it in a well vented area. The depth allows more ozone to be stripped from the bubbles (In a tank 5 ft deep, before the water gets saturated, the bubbles nearly dissapear on their way up because of being taken up by the water, but at that depth the pressure in the cheap container the corona disharger is in, becomes large enough to burst the container), and when the depth is optimal you wouldnā€™t be able to smell much ozone at all for the first half hour or so, or see much bubbling occur. It looks more like a giant glass of sparkling water, and with more CO2 and N gasses escaping from it than actual ozone or oxygen that point, thatā€™s close to what it is too!

But like I said, the containers donā€™t like the pressure much and they will burst with tiny holes in the beginning, leaking more and more ozone into your well-vented area until itā€™s no longer sufficiently vented so you notice the smell, or until the stone simply stops emitting a stream of nearly dissapearing bubbles.

You can find ozone generators on ebay and the likes, and for handy people there are cheaper ā€œkitsā€ that hold the same cheap parts as the regular home units do. Thereā€™s also a professional segment of ozone generators, I wouldnā€™t swing that cash towards a home ozone enrichment installation, but if you have the cash and can find one, it might be a worthwhile investment as these professional units are capable of being used for a lot more, for instance in agriculture, in construction, in clean-up, scent prevention, and even in pest management as a consumer and pet safe insecticide and, when combined with a coolmist unit, even a miticide.

Whats pasta water and do the jugs release coĀ² into the environment, or into the water, which you then pour?

Id say my secret is messing up. I rarely make the same mistake twice, but Iā€™ve made A LOT of mistakes once.
My other secret is enjoy the process. There are def days when I wish it was just time to smoke it already, but if I can slow down and truly take in what Iā€™m looking at, I can appreciate its beauty in that moment. I think it also helps that I have no intention of profiting off my grows, which gives me the free space to make mistakes

Buy seeds from established breeders.
Quarantine clones for 2 weeks minimum.
Heat rises.
Keep the grow clean.

Coco/peat/perlite quality nutes and supplements and I do a lot of micro dosing and feed more frequent. Regular consistent proper foliar feeding and foliage removal regular consistent plant maintenance. I also like to FIM my first topping. :sunglasses: :peace_symbol:

A smart trick for outdoor or large indoor growers:

A great tip to grow in my opinion is have fun growing.

Godā€™s dirt, fresh rabbit droppings top dressed, wood ashes. Lots of water, without too much water, you do that by building a water reservoir for your roots.

Diakon Radish cover crop can help your plants reach the natural water reservoirā€¦
I water wide and deep to create an upper natural water reservoir.

This can backfire if heavy rains floods
The growth will explode in hot full Sun.

Less food is required through the season and I mainly rinse plants in water a lot to keep them clean and stronger overall.

These plants were grown using regular soil and Rabbit manure mixed in the soil. Lots of water, then lots of dry time until you water again.

Itā€™s important for me to get my root zone gigantic on any plant. Top and prune, tie down limbs. I never care whatā€™s growing above. Iā€™m just topping and prunning till July/August. My panic mode is always are my roots big below every day. So it wonā€™t fail in flowering.

Ancestral skunk August.

Hawaiian Sativa blood red stem. Wood ashes below.

Ancestral skunk

Turkish hash plant

These plants all grew fast and tall in no time, they barely received any plant food all season. Wood ashes and cucumber skin ashes on flowering.

Iā€™ve been growing for 45+ years, two outdoor harvest and a indoor harvest often throughout the whole year is mainly what I do. All seed breeding mainly. :100::dove:

I have grown only a couple plants outdoors. Enough to let me know I donā€™t get enough sun under my 120+ year old oak trees. But that said living in the bible belt I would be paranoid from the day the plants started flowering till I harvested them. Especially if they were BBPs like those that probably stunk to the high heavens too.

Great job.

Coco growing:

I find that skipping a watering here & there provides a bit of ā€œwatering stressā€ which I think can make a plant get frosty sooner, and may help terpene development a little bit. I have yet to have a plant wilt on me, and Iā€™ve skipped one, even two days watering during mid-flower, the pot would be light as a feather but the plant never showed signs of underwatering.

Iā€™m going to really make a point this year to water less.

Funny but some or a lot of truth to this.
Unworked F1s especially will have progeny with weaker immune systems.
I grew 5/5 bubba cheesecakes and chose 2 vigorous ones.
1 or the 2 just clones and grows 5 x better, better structure, fatter buds, denser longer trichomes, the clones of #2 are 5 x bigger after being left in solos.
Thatā€™s like most F1 polyhybrids.
And ime cbd strains also more prone to bugs.
I use phenolic acids and other natural pgr and ipm to strengthen and trigger their immune systems so theh can leave bugs in a sea of glue or sap or not get them at all indoors.

Yea Iā€™m trying to find other breeders talking about using weak cannabis genetics as trap/indicator plants but for now enjoy this cool Greenhouse Management article about other ones:

Best way to do that is to plant independence plants, if I had my way Iā€™d do this always.

You plant on the 4th of July. Those plants require less care and still get big.

These plants are also easy to camouflage in public on a fence line.
They hide perfect in the tall weeds on the fence. Keep them the same height and people canā€™t even see them standing right in front of it.

Plant about 10,000 Independence plants would be ideal for me. Ive had 6 foot plants from July 4th plantings outdoors.

Then that helps keep the soil healthy and more winter and spring crop time for your plants. :100::dove:

I try and shoot for 1lb per clone. My gauntlet. July plant is not going to work for that. I started way too early this year. Iā€™m going to be fighting them come Sept.
