First folks I’ve seen claiming 3.0 uMol/J.

It took me a few secs to spot it
It’s that tricky strip lens they are using, it’s actually a linear fresnel lens! Not too many folks go with LED lenses these days as generally the extra losses mostly cancel out the gains but not this time. :+1:

There is no mention about the LED driver but looking at their earlier units they have either designed and built their own or someone else is OEMing for them.
Interestingly the specs ID the input power as 230~240 VAC,
not 100~240 (universal input). I haven’t seen anyone do that it decades
Def. not designed for N. America

The dimmer is just a 6 position switch but
the specs of the digital controller says you get ‘continuous variable dimming’ (when using the controller) that’s a plus.

One slightly deceptive item is they spec the input power to the LED driver (not the light) so remove about 8~10% for driver losses.

The spectrum looked a little red heavy but that’s probably because they want to sell you the UV/IR bars.

Last thought, what size tent are you planning to use? You could just squeeze that beast into a 1.2 x 1.2M (4’ x 4’) tent but too much power. A 1.5 x 1.5M (5’ x 5’) would be a better fit.

Well that’s different

The mystery of the missing LED driver is explained, they built it into the folding frame.
I wondered about that a couple years ago but everyone was using an OTS (off the shelf) LED driver.

There is a simple (North American) guideline for light selection I forgot to mention. “25 watts per square foot” or to translate “225W per square meter”.
{Personally I never exceed 20W/sqr Ft.}

One point in favour of ‘larger is better’ is you will not be putting as much stress on the light and the driver so they will be running significantly cooler and therefor should last much longer.

My setup is a little different that most, I mounted the LED driver externally from the tent (the driver is about 90+% efficient). That moves about 20~30W of heat out of the tent.

You sure will have difficulty finding a better price

i cant do that, the dimmer only allow me 290w, 430w, 580w or 730w
my surface is 2.88sq/m, so let’s say 3, i would need 675w, but i can only give 580w or 860w.

I’d go with the 580W setting, adjusting the height can help ‘dial in’ the light intensity.
