Not entirely sure as have never used one of that style of light, but it should be, If you train it right it should be ok. Have you checked out any of the micro growing threads?

Please consider staying in one thread instead of opening a new one for every question. That way you will win some followers over time and people just need to scroll up if they want to know the background of your adventure. And please be more patient than bumping your question after an hour.

The lamp is supposed to have 24W. I have done micro grows with less, but I don’t know anything about that particular light.

Keeping the plant under 50cm will need some work (search the site for LST).

You definitely should.theres alot of good info on it. I’ve also seen alot of guys on here make their own lights using multi bulb fixtures and screw in led bulbs with the plastic cap popped off. Also for the short height issue check out the phototron thread as your kinda trying to do the same thing just in your own diy grow box.

Thanks,I am Reading a lot over here,I am overwhelmed,my head Is full of “don’ts” and “dos” but only thing I know Is that this Little Medikit auto is germinating with a little white root and as for now the lamp is coming from Germany to Italy,It s gonna take days,so,planning to put it in soil tomorrow, starting it outdoor and then update you all when the lamp Is here

This lamp may work.
Hard to say for certain, there is no information on the photo active radiation the lamp produces.

It says 120watts - not sure if this is actual draw from the wall or some sort of equivalent.

I am worries about air movement and exhaust.

Are you sealing this box? Or are you just trying to add reflective walls?

Hi! I would recommend that you also buy a “normal” white-light LED bulb light (looks almost like the normal glowing “incandescent” bulb-lights, but white…!) from your closest big supermarket or hardware store. Something between 15-22 w. Should cost like 10-15 euro, then it’s the right one and good quality! Then you have a good enough light and faster than waiting for that purple-light LED from Germany. (you need to have a good strong light now when the seedling starts to grow after a couple of days, otherwise it will stretch way too much…) It’s good to have “normal” white-light because the plants need ALL the spectrum, not only blue and red! Also it is easy to see the plants true real colours in white-light, but not in purple-light. And that is good if the plant gets any difficulties with nutrients at some time later, then you can notice it very fast and correct it! You can use the purple light also, both together will be great for your cardboard box! Good luck!

Please take a minute and observe how that new light works. In what directions do the LED emit the light? And where do you see a shadow?
