Dark period humidity seems like it may be an issue with the sealed room. I plan to observe and order a small dehumidifier when I get paid. Suggestions would be appreciated. I couldn’t find an affordable one with humidity control.
mine is a garrison. You just have to clean the filter screens once in a while.
Great thread brother!!! Love the solo cup flowering technique. Was thinking about doing it too.
Would you do it again?
What kind of worms are those?
I got them at the corner store. I think they’re red wigglers but I’m not sure.
I would not, seeing as pot size affects expression. Though it is possible as solo cups are plentiful and cheap, but I have the bigger pots now and everything i need.
Thank you @Justblazin
They almost look like fishing worms(dew worms), they look pretty big but maybe thats just the pic.
Does the corner store sell them for bait?
Was thinking of doing solos, as I could do more in a small space. I’ve done like 30 one gallons before in a 5x5 tent a few times. Guess I’ll just stick to the one gallons for pheno hunting.
Yes, the cup was small, and yes.
Dew worms are nightcrawlers i suppose.
Nightcrawlers and red wigglers are both earthworms and both beneficial in different ways I think. I don’t know for sure which kind I have.
I’d definitely recommend the one gallons at minimum as you’d see more of the plant structure. Solo cups can run higher numbers for specific reasons but if you can run one gallons then you’ll get more data out of it.
Ya I think red wigglers work closer to the top of soils and the nightcrawlers dig down deep and are fat n used for fishing bait.
Red wiggles are smaller and skinny, don’t think they are used for bait as they are kinda small. Think red wigglers are the ones you want in your containers and your worm bin. But like you said they are both beneficial worms.
@leetdood hoping you don’t mind me showing this pic of a solo cup grow start to finish. Just showing how much you can yield from a cup, and I’ve seen larger but this is one of my takes.
I don’t mind at all! It’s also a good example of how you don’t see very much of the plant’s structure in such a small format and shape. You get an idea of where the bud is gonna be at, how it’s gonna smoke and grow, but it isn’t the “bigger picture” of what you’d see if you grew it in a bigger container.
My flower room is doing amazing but I’ve been keeping an eye out and i found these 2 lower leaves on 2 different plants. What is the issue here do you guys think? I’m thinking mag or k def but not sure which
Trying to figure it out so I can maybe correct it.
Is it just lower growth that doesn’t get any light?
I find leaves under the canopy can get deficiencies from lack of light. If everything else looks nice and healthy and it’s only lower stuff that doesn’t get light I wouldn’t be too concerned.
With the tips burnt and curled up like that would that be from over feeding?
It is from under the canopy so I think I’m going with that. I don’t think the plants are being over fed but I’m being pretty careful about that.
Lavender frosting #2 day 17 flower
They do like to bush out in general from my observations but LF2 is the crazy one… look at that branching and node spacing. It’s gonna yield so much I’m worried the branch will break under its own weight.

Reading the info here about the p1 it explains a lot about why the lavender frosting likes to bush out, and the node spacing.
Today was a stressful start… light wouldn’t come on, digital ballast broke, panicked and stressed and found a solution.
Removed wired in mogul socket and attached the lamp out I cut off the digital ballast. Works for my hps light. Doesn’t work for my cmh.
I was worried about my babies
