What a time to be alive. I used to smoke brown brick weed with rocks and grasshoppers and baling twine in it.

Smoked the Mac 1 for a year cause I had a dream supply for dirt cheap! Great strain I’m hoping to get a nice representation to run it. Also smoked Maui for a year before that and it was some deadly smoke! If I had those two exact cuts I’d be able to live in harmony for the rest of my days!

Ive had my eye on the mac1 for years but even tho its some of my fave smoke ive heard its a notoriously slow persnickity veg.

The Mac1 is a bit slow to veg. Im smoking on a jar now.
Its my personal opinion but i prefer the Cap Junky over the Mac, its smoother while having as good or better buzz while retaining yield.
Havent grown Lumpy’s AF but i wasnt impressed with a few prerolls i purchased.

Anything diesely or stong fuel is a go for me. Ive heard mac1 isnt the best producer. Heard the apple fritter is tho…thanks for the heads up ive never traded seeds because my seed vault is still pretty weak. Nothing in there worthy of trading yet. I see that this is the coin of the realm here tho so ill be working on it.

Im not sure if its just how the mac1 is grown around here, but I found it severely lacking flavor. It was the first legal bud ive ever purchased. I told the bud tender to give me the dankest stuff they had and thats what he gave me. The buds were so damn frosty and dank lookin and it did have a killer buzz, but the flavor wasnt there.

Last couple times i got from the dispo it had a mild artificial orange thing going on. Reminiscent of children’s asprin. Always strong and esthetically pleasing
A lot of big commercial growers at dispensaries pull their plants way before they’re ready. They just go by how many days its been in flower. To fit as many rotations as possible they might be pulling everything at 55 days even if its not ready. Its all about profit not quality of product. I would bet that you could find better Mac 1 elsewhere.

Yea, to be fair, pretty much all disp weed ive ever smoked has been straight trash. Im assuming your from the OH, as well as me. Riviera Creek is the only flower ill buy at the dispensary. Their Chocolope and gmo is fuckin killer.

OH doesn’t have many good growers in the program. I typically would go for Galenas. Occasionally Klutch, Buckeye, or Certified. None of them are next level phenomenal. Most brand are trash like Cresco, Butterfly Effect, etc. A lot of the brands are owned by the same few big companies like Cresco, Curaleaf, and Trulieve. It’s only going to get worse. I lived in California for awhile and you could find a few good growers in dispensaries but the legal market out there has tanked. Big, commercial growers are just selling flower at smaller margins and are throwing money into facility operations in order to outlast the smaller guys and push them out of business. I’m just happy that Ohio legalized home grows. Thats where the best flower is going to be found.

A buddy brought me a preroll of Apple Fritter from a dispensary. I wasn’t impressed either.
It was earthier than I expected, but it was dispensary weed, so it may not have been the best representation.
I have some AF seeds, just haven’t gotten around to popping them yet.

I had homegrown apple fritter once, wasn’t crazy about it.The high lacked. I believe diesel is an absolute must to have! Cap Junky is a nice one too! I have both.
