It really shouldn’t be possible but stress can do some weird things. Usually it’s the other way around and a plant will flower sooner due to stress. But yea, both seeds should have been an auto unless whoever created them didn’t take them to the F4 stage.

Appreciate the input. Was from ILGM combo deal. Girl Scout cookies produced tremendous indoor. The other was a Bruce Banner that also fox tailed outside.

Thanks for stopping by @Beau. This will be my first auto reversal so hoping for the best. I know you’re not a big auto guy but you are welcome to any seeds that I hopefully make from this. If the reversal fails it’ll be a bud run I guess.

Do you have any pics of these fox-tails? I’m just curious as to how bad they are. I don’t mind it to a small degree but I grew a Blueberry awhile back and it was pretty bad. The other 3 plants had a little bit due to the temps but it makes me not want to grow it again.

Sorry no pics. Just the whole thing foxtailed really weird looking kept it going thinking it would fatten up lol. Never seen anything like it. Perfect for hash I suppose

Look up some images of Dr. Grinspoon. I’ve seen some like this that just pop up out of the woodwork every now and again. Thats the extreme case.

This is an old pic. That’s the prep and a couple of the previous runs stragglers. Crème de la Chem x Skywalker OG and a Scoutsicle. New line up is hopefully fire as well. I’m sure yours is too.

Resisting the effects of light leaks and being able to tend plants any time are nice benefits that I had not considered. Being able to run your lights for 24 hours to avoid using a heater is a good idea. I had thought that even autos needed some lights off time? I guess not. Running 24 hours instead of 12 for all of flower would cost me an extra $120 per crop, but if I had to run a heater during off hours, I guess it would come out around the same. Thanks for explaining.

Ok OG’ers here’s a quick update. Plants are doing ok. Right now they have been above ground for 12 days. I’m trying to stay 1 step ahead of them and I think I’m going to slightly increase their feed. With autos usually less is more, so I’m going to make a small adjustment and give them a few days to react. I’ll try to give updates weekly at minimum. Been busy at work and wish I had a little more free time.

Good news is that the Tropicana Hammer is hanging in there despite the weird mutation and we have some hope. Right now we’re fighting with a really low humidity in the tent but they are taking it well. I’ve got a humidifier running in the lung room but are still at high 40’s-low 50’s. At least I can maintain a good temp. I’ll update again within a week.

Just a quick update. They’re 15 days above ground at this point. I’ve made a small adjustment to their nutes to hopefully remedy the cal/mag deficiencies showing. I always seem to have this with auto seedlings under 24hrs of light at a low EC feed. They’ll be back on track shortly. I’ll probably start the STS spray on the Double Grape in a week and hope it takes. If not I guess we’ll make another bud run!!

too bad you didn’t grow one of my Autoflowerings, if I knew you were doing a project like that I would have given it my all. I’m curious to see how your autoflowering grow goes. I’m starting a little differently than you do.
