Another quick update. We’re at day 26 or so and these girls are starting to stretch a little. I’ve pulled a few lower leaves to help with watering but not much defoliation otherwise. My STS solution precipitated for some reason, I’m guessing it was from using RO water instead of distilled water and a reaction happened. My stock solution is still clear, so I mixed up a new batch with distilled water and hopefully it’ll go ok. Anyways @Ironfreak check out that Tropicana Hammer in the back left, she got through that mutation and is catching up, still not sue yet on sex but I won’t be disappointed if it’s a male for a pollen backup.
Yea, with the Ohio climate, last week I was running a humidifier and now after the rains, I’m running a dehumidifier. The plants are big enough now to create a lot of humidity so now I’m trying to get it all in balance. Regardless we’ll make some seeds and if not we’ll make some buds!!
pots. tried different sizes 3,5, 7,10 gals, and types fabric , plastic. never seemed to make any change. it gets hot and very very humid in the middle of summer for me.
i am running my outdoors in the ground this year and i have a ton of auto mango haze x gambian blueberry sprouted.
i will have to try them in the ground. still will do early season and late season grows on them and see how they do?
I think and hope you have much better success with them in the ground. What I found talking to my friend who also grows in a very hot climate is that in the pots the soil heats up in the sun and harms the plants. He grows in pots and buys mulch and builds up the mulch around the pots till it’s as tall as the pots and he waters in each morning before it gets too hot. He also plants in the ground and puts a healthy layer of mulch around the plant also to help keep the roots cooler.
4 autos the 3 shorties are further along and all have a weird Grinspoony thing going on. Hoping the tall one flowers regular but not holding my breath. Is the Grinspoon thing common for autos?
I always start with a small vai, for the first 8/13 days. It depends on the development of the roots, I try to transplant them before the roots get twisted. But then I usually grow them outdoors.
Nice healthy thick girls you have there! I got a similar sts salts but I think my RO system is letting something through that is causing the precipitation. So far the batch I mixed up with distilled water is staying clear. Fingers crossed.
Looking awesome I haven’t done an auto yet well kinda in the solo cup challenge I sucked at I’m gonna try my hand at it again lol definitely pulling a chair up watching this
Hey @OH420 the Dosidoes 33 that you sent me mate are the best ones out of the lot that I have going mate only a couple of weeks to go . Thank you very much mate
Hey, @Pixie65, I’m glad they’re doing good for you!. I haven’t ran them outdoors yet but I have some friends that are going to run them this summer. Don’t sleep on that Glueystone cross, I think you may like that even more. I’ve only ran the one in a solo cup but it took on the sativa bud look that the Glueystone mom had. Dense buds and really good smoke.
