Thinking feit screw in bulbs with the covers removed to veg under until they get to 5-6 nodes then ill switch to something bigger. All ive ever run was 1000’s of watts of magnetic ballasts with parabolics and kooltubes. Honestly prob spent more on hortilux bulbs in the last 20 yrs then i can remember but itd be up there!
Need to have my own thread to post things that i enjoy or fascinate me, while im growing. Kinda perplexed with the led boards/rails etc that are available. HLG seems to offer refurbs that might be worthwhile w a 1 yr warranty. Still deciphering the used car salesman from the true info meant to be helpful.

As a recent convert to HLG i can confirm their quality. 2 refurbished lights close to $1 a watt with a 3 year (100) and 5 year (350) warranty. They only make lights.
Looking forward to some Bad Dawg fire.

Cant speak to the refurbs but im currently testing out some diablo 750s and some tomahawk 720s. both great lights but the diablos seem way better built.

I run a 1000 watt HPS along side an HLG 600r. I get equal results and I have never ran my HLG at full power. Side by side 1000 vs Full power HLG the HLG definitely outshines the 1000. Whatever decision you make I’m sure it’ll be ALLLLL good. Much love peeps.

I was chexking out HLG, they do have some very nice lights and the reputation to go with it. Diablo x looks like an absolute best. The only discrepancy I have is the diodes are LM301B. Dont get me wrong, its a great top bin diode, but i recently settled for LM301H EVO. AC Infinity 
Introduced the Evo in week 5 of flower and its a complete game changer. Love them so much!! Cant wait to get a full run in under them. Seedlings already waiting for it!

Think i might buy another phone or maybe a canon powershot camera to take pics with. The phone i bought at target for work is sketchy on the pc upload. Thankyou for stopping in because im full of questions as i go.

AC Infinity got in the game moving air. Dunno if the 100 is 301b or 301h and not sure my Diablo even has Samsung diodes. Quality equipment though. All they do is make lights and warranty em. HLG with lm281b over a Mars with lm301h for this grower everytime. HLG dont make tents or fans, just grow lights

Im not knockin HLG, never ran anything HLG. But its really hard to justify 1800 bucks for a light. Now if your sealed and maintaining c02, i can see how that may make more sense, but you never get that light pushing more than 1500ppfd. Any extra power to the driver is just wasted from having to hang it so high.
Totally agree with the mars being shit. Spider too.
And yeah ACI does do the tents and other gear but i appreciate that. Integrated gear for automated controls make things a plug n play. I have yet to hear from anyone who owns the Ionframe series they dont like it or regret the purchase. But i appreciate quality and can not deny that HLG is pro level, its just the heafty price. Hopefully they come down some then id hop on that train in a heart beat!!

when i was younger we would get bricks from southern areas and the carrib area. Honestly really miss going through those old bricks because i saw so many diff varieties of seed both in shape and colorings that i find myself searching for specific patterns in seeds that know from my past experiance came with excellent smoke. @ big ones stand out in JET black larger then normal seed were really good. We also would get varying degrees of tiger striping like markings on really blondish/light green tinty seeds that were top shelf all the time.

Truthful response about ‘more people’ being bad and ‘diff variety of seeds’ being good would get me suspended or banned so
