Let's talk Sensi Star 🌿 ⭐

Look at rsc and the like they have loads of them and adding more pretty often I’d say there more accessible now more than ever best to grab them sooner Vs later tho before less and less are pure though most are for hash but some are used for bud and bhang too the for bud use is just rarer for the Himalayas but it exists dashinkali and the mountain ganja lines are examples of this bud

Akbb had his durbalayan that I picked up. Himalayan x Durban. The Himalayan phenos are just purple single stem plants. Haven’t ran it yet but he sent me pics a few years back.

It’s nice enough Ime proly some skunk or something in there as it’s chunky not so racy or as up as pure stuff etc the best phenos have that malted chocolate Nepalese thing going for them it’s a tall plant not super strong nice enough for daytime but I think crossed with some other nice chocolate leaning lines there’s good potential there assuming it’s still as good as it was years ago of course

I’m pretty sure the Himalayan Afghani used by Paradise is the old SSSC variety called M13 Afghani/Nepali in their catalog.

Here’s a quick shot I took last night of some AJ’s Sour Diesel x Sensi Star from Katsu I have in the greenhouse. Stem rubs are insanely stinky, definitely picking up a lot of the AJ predominately but there’s definite Sensi in there too.

Quite possible.
Easy enough to mix up older seed vendors and lines hah.

I once deep dived into paradise seeds and serious seeds… at one point, i had partially figured out what went into these dudes early lines. At one point they worked together?

The split, or somekind of rivalry between them left some rants on defuct forums, some still findable if you dig deep enough.

Of course i forgot all about these lines, but i should have some kind of file or compilation somewhere.

I don’t think Simon worked with the Paradise guys but anything’s possible. They don’t share any genetics as far as I know. Both were very secretive about what they were working with.

I believe Simon and Luc was a thing way back. Unfortunately I don’t have the receipts handy but off the top of my head, a few lines owned by their original venture were the basis for both guys early lines.

Some name changes etc later, ta dah.

I think i heard in the highcloud podcast of last week that Luc is working for one of the legal weed project breeders. I think Aardachtig but I’m stoned.

If you can find out any info on that subject I would be interested to hear it. I can’t think of one strain they both sold that shared genetics.
Apparently Luc and his friends had a very unorganized grow in their apartment in the beginning and things weren’t professional at all

Let me tell you, if we knew the true origins of lines and breeders, we’d soon realize that most everything come from very humble beginnings(the common man) and most public breeder of old used the same damn dozen or so lines they either stole or were gifted with stipulations.

By lifting the veil of secrecy and intrigue, any straight thinking grower would soon kick those drama queens from their pedestal of delusion of grandeur presto.

Its all for show and instead we bought front row tickets.
