I’ve been kinda half-way in the market for a new light for a long time. It’s been the weakest part of my setup, kinda intentionally as I’ve been learning and trying lots of stuff. The lights also kept getting so much better and cheaper, kept talking myself into waiting and I stuck with my original “kit” light as primary flower light. I have a three tents (2x2, 3x3, 4x4) and usually keep 1-2 up at a time (cycle for veg, flower, dry). Small time home hobbyist and have a blast with it!
I’ve considered a big multi bar format light but love the ease of the “quantum board” format. Considered a lot of brands, from cheapest cost/lux to HLG and everything in between.
Settled on the “AeroLight” by Vivosun.
The AeroLight has a special gimmick: it’s a quantumn board format with an integrated circulation fan. It has wifi control the whole thing from your phone with support for “recipe” style automation. Spectrum control, go bluer or redder for veg/bloom. A ton of features and the ticket wasn’t too bad. Oh yeah and it has wings to control the light spread - this is manual with a simple hinged design but still super cool.
I’ve only had the thing a short time but daggon it was a hell of a sales pitch and I’m not disapointed. I got the “2x4” version, could even fit in my 2x2. If it doesnt break or catch on fire it’s an A+ in my opinion. Happy to take any questions. Friggin cool light!!!
