Forgot to tell you this baby snapper was in one of the puddles on the first side trail. I got him to bite the worm n pulled him out water for a pic then he ran back in the puddle
That IS one āpurty fishā there, @LilJonB ! Of that there is no doubt!!
Man @rooted from my brother and I good looking out on the spot.
And another nice one! damn, man lol Iām wanting to grab a rod and head up there.
But I donāt go fishing anymore, so Iāll just sit here and remember āthe good old daysā! You gotta be having fun there @LilJonB!
Nah probably someone i know though. Me n my couple friends all fish there rarely at the same time but they all smoke.
The fish really turn up as the sun drops. Sunset better than sunrise there but all day theres random fish. As the sun goes down they start hitting topwater heavily.
My brother said it was a older guy. He had long dark hair.
But yeah it was a blast. Iām going to try to get out there tomorrow. Shame I donāt have wheels.
Thereās a place back in Eastern Regional Park.
If you park all the way to the left when you go in. Thereās a path that takes you out of the park. Use the Google earth thing to find the tracks. Walk up the tracks to the bridge. There decent fish in there. I try to clean up wherever I go. That place is a lil messy. Your spot was really clean.
I dont mess with the snappers. Lol. Nope.
Yeah that little puddle in the front of eastern regional has snakeheads in it. They hit frogs too.
Then the bigger water behind eastern regional has everything and snakeheads. But the ponds where you were today are my best fishing hole here. Relaxed n lot of spots between all the ponds in one cluster. The ponds usually nice n quiet n can smoke no dnr goes back there probably cause the railroad tracks.
DNR can suck my dnrā¦ because I got paper LMAO!. But I get it. All the same. I understand why they need money and why they do what they do. But your right. Some people love the environment and just want to fish. I couldnāt offord it at times. This place was heaven.
Anyone that I take back there should understand the rule āleave it better then you found it.ā
Like me and my Bro. FOSHO!
EXCELLENT practice my friend. Many years ago I would fish in farm ponds. Always asked first. And leave it nicer than when you leave. Guaranteed if you pick up trash, that guy will let you in again.
That drives me bonkers when people donāt pick up there crap. How places get shut down.
Yep and people wonder why fishing is not as good in some places anymore.
Thereās a lot of fish to feed on in there. Lots of baby Sunnys and Blue Gill. I call them Spots because sometimes they look the same.
But I do see what you mean. I never really caught many bass in my life time before the other day. Thanks @rooted. Now that I know what they look like I remember seeing that kind of fish in other ponds. Just by looking. Not catching.
I was back there yesterday and it wasnāt really doing much until it rained. My brother said it has something to do with the barometric pressure. How the fish can tell I donāt know.
Back on topic we go.
Yeah 2 of the forest candy are taking off better than everything else. Theyre still seedlings but 2 fc and one blackberry bread are leaders of the pack so far.
Is that blue cookies the same as was just auctioned? Blue god x 3 finger gsc.
They came from @BigMike55. Iām not certain if they are the same.
Iām Glad the Forest Candy is doing well for you.
