I was just there few days ago n saw one in that first pond i swear was 2+ ft long. Mf had to be 8-10 lb. But wouldnt bite. Just heads up that place is wild for being here. Wild turkeys big snakes and huge snapping turtles. Some nasty beavers too that tried to bring me a move. Ive personally seen a record size kingsnake in a bush hanging out in the air and couple copperheads

Techincally its lafarge quarries private property but the one guy drives damn machine over at break n fishes too. Never been run off at the ponds. Dont go past em where they have all the machines mining they might say something but if youre just at the ponds fishing theyre cool about it.

Thanks for the heads up. Personally I don’t care if its private property. My brother on the other hand might. We catch and release. I end up picking up trash most of the time. Some fisherman litter something horrible.

Yeah thats the spot. Used to swim there years ago. The diving cliff is back past the work area. Ponds are soon as you enter theres noone really watches ponds just the work area cause big machines

I’m trying to calibrate my bluelab combo meter and getting an error message. Anyone know what that could be?
It’s saying to use the 4. And I’m in the 4.0. Idk. It’s not that old. I keep my probe in solution and everything.

Something weird going on with the Black Candyland
That fan back there did slide down and was blasting the plant more then I would like. Hopefully that’s it. I might need a change out. I haven’t done one since I started this round.

Temps are fine. RH is low. I don’t have or ever really used a humidifier. I’m going to have to get that instead of getting new nutes.

I’ve had mine do that also just keep calibrating it ,also clean the probe with the soap and brush might help . I can’t remember I might of let it sit in the 4 solution for a while before I calibrated it . I do know I had to do it several times before it solved the problem .

Thanks @ShiskaberrySavior . I brush it under water after practically after ever use. I will try some soap and water as well. I’ll give it another go tomorrow morning. I done put everything up. Lol.

I wanted to get back out there. But it started raining. I’ll get some more fishing in this weekend.
I forgot to change my clothes before I went in the same room as my tent. I’m going to have to make more of an effort to have clothes out to change into after doing yard work and going fishing.

Yeah if you go to those ponds spray down first and definately change. Theres chiggers and ticks but the main thing is big ass flies will beat you upside your head the whole time. I found wearing a hat and spraying the hat real good keeps em out your face there. Chiggers them mfs another story. Just dont brush up against things. Once theyre on you its hell for a week or so.
