Thatās the reason that i swear every two days when i have to water that iāll never do it againā¦but, we all know that Iām just lying to myself. I may cut the # of hempies down, but Iām addicted to the growth now and thereās no going back. LOLOLOLā¦

Hey @Chronickyle. About the nitro during flower for the stretch. Do you do it for it to strech more or less? I donāt like alot of stretch.

To reduce stretch put your light closer to your plants. I put my hlgs at 14 - 15 inch through my last stretch and greatly reduced the amount it typically does.

I do nitro for the stretch as I feel the plants hungrier for nitrogen growing at an exelled rate.

I figured out something that makes life easier. If your running DWC it might help you to.
Being able to disconnect your buckets for what ever reason and not have to worry about getting hung up is a great feeling.

No problem bro. Yeah I try to keep my lights as close as the plants will allow with a little bit of room to grow so they donāt feel discouraged. The last strain I ran in DWC the nodes were so close together I wish it did stretch. Lol it was a pain to try to defoliate, but boy I had dense nugs. They were the tightest nugs I ever grew.

Hereās a few pics of my Hopscotch 24 days since flowers showed, took two weeks to flower after flipping. Purple is coming in. Under the leaves is solid purple during flower.

Looks good man! Two weeks sound right. I can tell sex usually within a week. I canāt wait. I donāt know if I will scrog or not. I guess I will wait and see. I will know a few weeks after flower. I will post more pics tonight. Everyone is doing great. I fumbled on the ph a little bit. I put to much ph down after topping off and didnāt wait long enough before checking it. Everything is ok now.

I have hiccups every grow. I had to take her out of tent for a few days cuz she wilted horribly on me. I usually lock one out when I grow different strains at the same time. Idk what medium is easier, I screw up dirt on regular basis. Iāve never seen growth as fast as hydro though. Thumbs up to ya.

So I brought the lights up a little bit because it looks like Im seeing a little clawing going on. I also brought the nutes down to 900 PPM. I feel like shes going threw some things. I will wait untill she looks like she is doing better then I will flip the lights. No point in putting her in more distress.
Something popped into my mind today. I didnāt start having issues untill after I switched out the air stones. I did let them soak for about 12 hours and let them run with air in them off and on for a few ours. The amount of bubbles are the same.
The other Hopscotch doesnāt seem to be having any issues at all. Besides it a little on the slow side growing.
I expect to see some improvement within a couple days. She just need a good dose of LIFTA. I feel like Iām babying her too much.

Lights shouldnāt cause clawing nutes do and over watering in dirt, in my experience anyway. I donāt understand hydro so itās not too wet, lol.

If I feel its getting worse I will switch the air stone back out. Then everything will be the same as before. She dont look bad but she dont look happy.
When I get the down turned claw form itās nutrient overdose. As long as the bubbles are mixing your water and there is some flow on the surface, you should be getting enough. Water temperature is more important 18C best low 20s is good 30 is death.

Thank you. @Hoppy told me the same thing. In the past I was told it could be from heat.
My buckets are 18c 65f. Sometimes up to 68f. Thats the highest Iāve seen it.
I took some solution out of my buckets and added ph water to bring down my nutes down to 900 ppm.
I came to the realization that if Iām going to do this the way I want Iām going to have to spend the money on a blue lab combo meter. Or something that doesnāt require recalibration regularly. I get uncomfortable wondering if my reading are correct. What meter do you use?

I got the blue labs dipstick. I love that thing itās so quick and easy! Theyāre not cheap, thatās for sure.

No they most certainly not. I will be paying for a piece of mind. You canāt put a dollar amout on that. Or maybe you can. Lol

Well I can breath easy. My unemployment went threw. After 6 months smh. Thanks to my family I wasnāt that affected by loosing my job. They knew that smy company was a bunch off @ssholes that take advantage of whoever they can. I really try not to be so passive. They knew its ruff out there job hunting right now. The only reason I stayed with the company as long as I did was for my co-workers. Allot of people left after I was fired.
