Similar thread called “G13, The search for Linalool”:

I’ll copy paste my post from this thread:

"Interesting! I enjoy Linalool heavy plants myself and this have been the strains in which I (believe to have) found it the most so far:

K2 (Nirvana/HGF): Old dutch commercial line, used to be omnipresent in coffeeshops, cross between Hindu Kush and White Widow. I think I read somewhere that Santero has some loose plans of reproducing the line.

Space Cookies (Paradise Seeds): AfghanXGSC, Only available in feminized form. I grew several packs with some time between them and they were pretty consistent.

High Society (Compound): Jet Fuel Gelato X Biscotti. Fem only. Most lavender smelling/tasting plant I ever had. Not representative, very large phenotypical variance, found no mention of other people finding lavender phenos online.

In the future I´m eyeing some of Bodhis offerings, especially Wookie (“She smells like you just ripped your hand down a lavender vine”) and Lavender Lemonade and their crossings.

Good luck with your search!"

One Durch Passion Fem strain caught my eye with regard to Linalool: Mokums Tulip

Even tho I like GDP, I’m hesitant to go too deep with it it due to bugs liking it so much…

Am I wrong in that assumption? Bug resistance is a big quality for me …

I don’t like linalool. But the Pura Vida has it.

Can’t wait to see how this turns out! Best of luck!

bugs LOVE the GDP. they will ignore everything else in the garden for the GDP. it sucks. you have to be on top of it.
the bugs are the only thing that make GDP a difficult grow. otherwise, it’s very easy. not a picky eater. works indoors or out.

Have you tried growing some other stuff with it? Garlic, chives, basil, roman chamomile, oregano, nematode marigolds, nasturtium, marjoram etc. I haven’t grown GDP yet but I do feel like it helps in my outdoor grows for pest management

i have tried the marigold, garlic and chives. of the 3, i think marigold worked bast.

otherwise i just rotate my sprays throughout the season. last year was apocalyptic with the bugs. worst i have seen to date. hoping this year is not a repeat.
i have already been prepping the back yard before the season starts in earnest next month, but have no plans to grow GDP outside this year. still have a good stash from last year.

be wary when you do grow the GDP. they WILL come. be prepared.

…Words I never imagined a stoner might say… :+1:
Ya know… that might be a good thread title…

It’s pretty cool watching our community stamping out the bro science and embracing proper science in real time. That’s a big change in 40+ years.

The 4-play seems like a really good choice.

Ive ran a few, even F2’d it. And its a very cool strain, but a lot of gas heavy stuff. Ive found more prominent lavenders in other wookie crosses. Not that its bad or anything.

That’s nothing. I bought a pack of 100 from the convenience store just the other day.
