Ran across this site and it’s full of random things to do during Covid. It’s very interesting and has links to excellent resources.
I started a online course called Designing Synthesizer Sounds. There are 1000’s of different college courses from Ivy leg schools in the states and others across the globe.
The ones ice done this year were much smaller/simpler. But same idea yeah. No clue what they got programmed to do, just made pretty housings and pedals to make it look not butchered together. Friend of mine does the programming/electronics design, I just take it to completion.
That’s cool! Studied the basic theory in the college classes I showed up for. But after a few classes it was getting deeper and I lost interest.
It’s a easy thing to do if you know what your doing. Like replacing resisters, using differ caps but I just wasn’t interested in that…
I only opened a few up, but most were free, some offered a extended for $20.
I’m still trying to find the link that has the current database. There’s one online, saw it but forgot where.
I don’t know, it’s cool to me cuz when I had the chance I just couldn’t. Now I’d love to but what’s the point, I’m in my 40’s.?.
