Little insects in my plants making me itchy

For the past couple of days I’ve been feeling itchy and I couldnt call it it started once I started my cultivation. This morning while checking the pot dish I saw two very tiny critters take off in two different directions. Its only been 7 days in does anybody have any advice? Ill try my best to catch a flick of them but they were fast.

They may be soil mites or springtails, not harmful in both cases, do they appear in surface when you water? Do they look like this?

You might be allergic? Many of us are. I have to take a Benadryl before harvest or trim. Also I wear long sleeves, latex gloves and sometimes a mask.
The dried trichomes irritate my skin a LOT

I’m definitely going to invest in some Benadryl with all the secret allergies I have I don’t need any surprises.

You shouldn’t worry then, if they are not many they won’t harm your plant, they help to decompose organic matter. Try to completely dry your plants between waterings, that will control their population … beer3|nullxnull

My plants make me itchy. If I’m not wearing a shirt like long sleeves. It’s always done me that way.
All plants have some type of defense system.

I worked in cultivation, and the plants made me itch, especially when in flower. I had breathing issues when defoliating late in flower or harvesting. I wore arm sleeves and a mask. Some varieties affected me worse than others.

You may be feeling the effects of the pointed non glandular trichomes in the photos below. They are mostly calcium carbonate and they are sharp. They break off into your skin.

Non-Glandular Types of Cannabis Trichomes

Non-glandular cannabis trichome types play an important role in the defense of the plant from its environment. These trichomes do not have a glandular head, but rather they are hair-like extensions, either unicellur or multicellular, that resemble leaf hairs with pointed tips.

Non-glandular trichomes do not produce or store active chemical compounds, but they do protect plants from biotic and abiotic stresses. They form a type of structural barrier to protect by barring access to insects, preventing disease attacks, shielding from UV-radiation, reducing transpiration, and more.
