I know this is a dumb post before I even make it, but I’ve always wanted to see cannabis growing in the wild. That includes hemp. I have easy access most of Kentucky and Indiana. Can anyone point me to a place where it grows along the side of the road?
I think it’d be pretty cool to go check it out in early October and see what kind of buds and seeds it would be making. Could be fun to grow out of even make crosses with.
Anyway, if anybody know of a place in my general area I’d love to be able to check it out this fall.

Nebraska is full of ditch weed. They grew a lot of hemp during WWII. Why someone would want it eludes me. Talk about a “ten minute buzz”.

Hahaha! I hear ya. I just think it would be cool to see. Could have a lot of CBD, or CB(whatever letter you wanna add), but yeah it’s probably not too exciting to most people.

I’m from Nebraska originally and I’ve seen some pretty impressive plants that where well above 12’ tall and with a different morphology than one would think of for hemp. More Christmas tree like branching than tall and skinny.

I bet you could find some fun things in those plants, at the very least you could find genetic diversity.

Just google roadside ditch weed and click on images…just cruising around looking for ditch weed is a waste gas.

I was stationed in Nebraska for 3.5 years. Never tempted to return, although Omaha is a nice enough town.

I’m originally from Grandisland but i left there in 1999 to join the airforce myself (security forces). 3.5 years is rough in Nebraska but at least it wasnt F.E Warren AFB in Chyenne.
