I’d like to contact a few (up to 5) commercial blueberry growers…
Besides our BBP project, we’re actually a manufacturer of ‘boutique’ foliars in the almond, tomato, grape
markets. I have developed a foliar over the past year that should be very advantageous in blueberry production.
The season will begin soon. I will provide all information, material, and support throughout the grow.
It will require accurate feedback from the grower. Contents will be provided up front so that growers can consider usage before determining their commitment.
If you know of a grower whom may be interested, have them send me a email… rflasch@sbcglobal.net
I’m not in Oregon, but I would like to point out that “commercial blueberry growers” could mean either actual berry growers and commercial pot growers who grow a blueberry strain. I only mention this because of all the blueberry seed giveaways. Perhaps it’s a silly concern, but IMO better to be safe than sorry.
Thanks for pointing that out ! I’m primarily looking for commercial grower referrals and will be more than happy to vet and consider applicants.
Than ks Bob
Have a very personal friend up here in Northern Maine who operates a “working farm”, Multi-Fruit & Vegetables, 200+ Apple Trees. I know he has Blueberries, Raspberries, and Strawberries. He operated a Retail Greenhouse Operations for 26 years, is now the Head of the Local Cooperative Extension, PHD in Agronomy Sciences, teaches at local University, and advises State Government Officials on Agriculture-related matters.
With your permission, I will relay your offer, provide OG contact awareness. SUPER THANKS for your contributions to the members of OG. Continued success in all you commercial endeavors. SS/BW…mister
Thanks @misterbee , Although this gentleman is not exactly in my target group, I believe a man of his experience would really enjoy the product, and probably give me some good feed back on berry applications ! Just like the BBP, a big part of my enjoyment is working with some fine people and sharing ‘holy s***’ moments !!
Go ahead and give him my email and we can start a conversation…sounds like fun !
I did register with the North West Berry Foundation to expedite my search, so we’ll see how that pans out !
Thanks Bob
