Looking for a ghost og cut

Lol not many found out about blood diamond. I had a fairly high tolerance and one bong rip just killed me. Its the only true one hitter quitter ive come across. Diamond in the rough for sure. The I.E. i enjoyed the cut i had was snow capped with that perfect purp taste but super stretchy. Outdoor it looked like an og with the height of some haze strains. I never was able to conclusively find out what the genetics where for it though

I might be wrong but I would guess blood diamond og was blood diamond crossed to og. Blood diamond was from swamp donkey
( calio x Appalachia) x ( cherry pie x Appalachia)

That seems like a good guess but blood diamonds and og kush are both hybrids and Blood diamond og is pure indica pheno of og kush though

Sounds like a load of nonsense to me, how does one get a pure indica pheno of a clone only strain
If there is any og in there it is not pure indica and if there isent then it’s another strain that attached that when it shouldn’t have.
Even the description from mendo clone company is contradicting , they call it a pure indica , new hybrid version of og kush, finishes in 90 days and has alot of stretch.
Nothing with og kush in it is pure indica

My point exactly which makes me think it was never an actual og, also it has a REALLY hashy taste and smell almost no pine and absolutely no citrus profile… Names are changed all the time though more so out here then in cali but it does happen i had someone try and sell me some romulan as gdp more than once in the east bay. I think whatever it is the og name was tacked on to sell easier. Either way the bd og is one of the stronger strains ive ever smoked

There are definitely alot of strains with og attached for the sake of a trendy name. The names have been changed to protect the innocent :joy:

It actually just happened to me recently i bought a blue cheese clone from a local dispensary… Well 6 wks into flower and it smells like some lemon drop candy and looks halfway into flower with really fluffy buds. Took me about a wk to figure out its actually lemon haze.

I’ve definitely seen it make some people alot of money, I’ve also seen it cause alot of drama and lost friendships. Cypress hill and cotton mouth king’s definitely helped get the strain alot of attention but in all honesty it was already making it’s rounds threw la and gaining a reputation before them. That’s why they got involved they heard it was better then anything else and when you have the ego of a 90s rapstar you smoke the best.

Very true. But lost friends is true in any business venture especially when you have that mindset already. I personally refuse to do anything i love doing for a living mainly because i know i would end up either hating it or the culture and “rival” growers especially once cali was flooded with smoke the business got cut throat. I grow too attached to every girl i grow to sell them off… They my babies :joy:

I can tell you this. Most of the dispensaries around here are full of crap. They act like they know what they are talking about, and probably have theirselves and many others convinced. Nope.

For real dude i gather your in the mid west too im sure its the same as north east ok although i have found 2 clone suppliers that seem to be trying to bring in legit genetics i mean this haze though sold as cheese has a strong smell and is blanketed in trichs. You just gotta stay away from dispensarys for clones these days. My biggest beef with this area is only being able to find clones rooted in soil and nearly a foot tall with obvious cuttings taken from it already… Its just ugly. I prefer fresher cuttings in rockwool or peat plugs its too easy to spread pests to gardens with soil.

Yeah man, we don’t live too far away from each other. That’s a good point.

Who is bringing in legit genetics? Route 66 looked OK for a minute, but I think they shut down before I could even check them out.

Good luck.

I never got around to them… Jubel exotics has a really terpe colorful cherry pie i can vouch for and their strain list is nice but i havent had a chance to get anything else from them yet. My mislabled haze came from escalated greens them i plan to get a few from. Both are blanketed in trichs. Now escalated has their own store but jubel i think just supplies a few dispensaries… Once again those are the only ones ive got from either so it could still be a crap shoot but it looks promising

I’m having a hard time finding their clones.

A steain list would be nice. I found some posts on Instagram and it looks like they have all the cookie, cake, pie, ice cream stuff. Grown in Hydro, like everyone else.

Which dispo?
