Yeah the one legit source I know in Los Angelas has been so overwhelmed with pre orders on there strains there hard to even get ahold of.
They went missing for last two months and I was a little worried but they just came back online saying they have been trying to get caught up ,I know they don’t ship though I had to drive to Los Angelas to meet with them.
There Instagram is mostly people saying hey where are you , you never return calls , how do I order with no number etc. Im not really sure how many new people they even take on at this point. I had to get a referral from one of there sources before they ever responded to me.
All the clone people are working on contracts to fill rooms on a regular basis , no cuts left for the little guys seems to be the trend threw out the state right now.
All that work on the Adam Dunn show and testing of different og cuts and if anybody found anything out there not speaking up about it. From what I understand about phylos it was pretty much a bait and switch business model with very little useful data being returned to the paying customer. I told everybody not to support them and was accused of being a conspiracy driven parenoid person, they did exactly what I told people they would. Collect all the data , auction it off the gmo pharma companies and start there own clone service boasting genetically superior plants. People need to wake up and realize what types of people are involved now, there not nice , they could care less about the past or honoring anybodies work, there going to run everybody over the first chance they get. People who are in bed with some big players, people who effect international drug policy and have had open doors to the canna business sense the 80s when most people were losing there freedom over the plant. The same people who claim it has no use have been laying the foundation to take over for quite some time.
That sucks man i was hoping to take a trip out to cali to see some friends and try to find some legit cuts at the same time… This is some bullshit 
I’m sure you can find some legit cuts of different og plants especially if your friends are in southern California , getting a verified ghost may be a little harder. I can tell you for sure the strain bank of Los Angelas and any of that guy’s other companies he advertises under do not have the ghost, what they sell as ghost is very similar to sfv but is certainly not what they claim.
If you have time to bounce around a few clubs and online vendors down south I’m sure you can find some great strains. I might go back down there myself for a few days this summer to see if I can track down a legit master kush .let me know when your out here if you do decide to visit maybe we can meet up and smoke some of this grape rebbelion of mine 
All the friends ive kept in touch with dont grow just good friends that like to smoke. So i wouldnt really put much into them knowing any place legit. Strain bank is the only place ive found that claims they got it
Yeah well they don’t I’ve ordered plants from them and have what they call ghost, I call her Diego because it’s not the ghost and comes from San Diego. It’s identical to sfv in flower but grows different in veg. Do a search of reviews on that company and you will see all the others he goes by. Dude has some crazy stuff going on.
I will say he sent plants and they were clean and professional looking but not at all what he claims, his bubba isent even close , it’s more like a knock of gsc.
I asked orgnkid who has the ghost in California and he only mentioned one person he gave it to who makes it available. Now anybody else could have got that from them and now be selling cuts but they could also just be full of shit.
I don’t really want to be responsible for clogging up there messages more then they already are by throwing there name out there but if your looking at a place who’s abreviation would be ASC or they say they got it from them it’s legit otherwise it’s a gamble.
I’ll reach out and see if they want to drop by here or mind me giving them a shout out. There all over Instagram anyways so it’s not like I’d be letting the cat out of the bag so to speak.
I remember you saying that diego is super floppy. I will be going to the bay when i do out there to visit. You know any good places that way.
I’m sorry to say but the bay has been a sad scene the last few times I was down there, hard to find clones and it’s normally some new variety if so. I have seen alot of Tropicana cookies and fire og cuts going around which is raskalsog x sfv if I remember correctly. My buddy has one growing out right now matter of fact. I’m pretty close to the bay area and go down there a couple times a year , this year has been weird hardly any clones. The main drop time is in the spring. Ill see dark heart advertise drops but then the clubs don’t have the plants and seem confused when asked about it.

I think we have a few members in the bay who may have a better idea of who stocks what, there is one in San Fran that regularly has clones.
I mean i know its out there… But getting my hands on while out here seems to be far harder than i was expecting for sure

I know alot of fire og and sfv og clones get put out but I’ve never seen the ghost outside of Los Angelas from the original crew who has always had it. I searched for a legit bubba kush for the last 15 years and could not find it untill I linked back up with them and drove down there.
Ill get my hands on em again one day… And they’ll never leave my garden again. Really hope it doesnt take that long though

Yeah alot of the new strains look amazing but lack that punch especially when you get into all the new strawberry unicorn Skittles fruit but that’s the new new and what people want.

I’ve noticed alot of people searching for pine weed lately , I personally hate the stuff but the genetics are definetly around.
Lemon pinesol floor cleaner I like but the actual pinetree Trainwreck taste is horrid to me, smells amazing but that taste is not what I want in my mouth lol it’s my friends wife’s fav flavor we go head to toe about this sometimes.

So alot of what is going on is it has become a visual market breeding wise, everybody is on Instagram showing off these amazing looking plants and people go crazy so other people want that same look hype. Another big aspect is the extract market is huge and growing so there are strains that make amazing distillate but might not be the best to grow or smoke. If your stripping it all for oil with out trimming anything besides sun leaf things like structure and leaf to calyx ratio don’t matter as much. The extract guys want loud terps and good production they can always add more thc if need be. I think we’re going to see things separate more and more between high terps and high thc, they can grow both and get what they want and recombine it.
Loud terps - good structure - potency with a good high, that’s the trifecta people should be striving for , I was always told it’s not a keeper unless it has all three or is very unique for breeding.
I think every breeder should have a few things
A high thc plant to fix weakness
A fast finishing plant to speed others up
A short sqaut plant to tame those sativas
Something unique to call there own
If you have those traits in any combination of plants or terps of your desire you should be able to work with alot of different things and work them towards what you want. If you start with a chest of hybrid to hybrid countless generations back you will have a hard time predicting what the outcome of any future breeding is with out doing alot of testing and note taking first ( should do that regardless)
Oh i agree with ya man. Something i believe thats happening is the unknown cannabinoids are being lost with higher % thc strains… Some strains in the teens make a better fuller high then the newer 30% strains that fall off almost as quick as dabs. My main og hunt os so i can do my own breeding with strains that are a more all encompassing high ie giggles munchies relaxation creativity and such. It seems like the higher thc some of these effects drop.
For my head and body og does it all.
