Looking for Ace repros if anybody gas any they wouldn’t mind gifting to a fledgling sativa grower. Would love to try that Golden tiger or panama x malawi. Or anything Malawi.

Do you want to try it bc it’s landrace or cause it’s AcE? Cause GT, Panama and Malawi all look to be hybridized with indica genetics so you wouldn’t really be getting true sativa effects

What makes you think that?
So far I have only seen very positive reports of the strains mentioned. Especially here in the EU, ACE genetics are quite popular. I therefore have little reason to believe that they are lying about the origin of their strains. But I am happy to be proven wrong.
However, I haven’t heard anything about indica effects with these sativas so far.
Having said that. Unfortunately, I don’t have any repros of the strains you’re looking for, but I do have some ACE strains in the freezer, as I’m convinced that they have some excellent genetics to offer.

De ja vu? McDonald’s is also popular, but I wouldn’t go there for Wagyu.
If you do a search on the forums here and at icmag you can see reports on the Malawi and how it has indica-like narcotic effects with FAST flowering time. The flower structure is also fat and dense like Afghani.
If it quacks like a duck, and walks like a duck… is it an Eagle??!
The Panama also grows squat, dense and too fast for a true sativa.
The GT seems to be another marketing ploy by taking what’s supposed to be two long time flowering lines and somehow producing a short flowering line with fat afghani dense flowers and a Stoney effect.
In conclusion can ACE lines be interesting ? Yes. Are those lines mentioned good pure sativa experiences? Fool me once, shame on you- fool me twice, shame on me.
If you want to try something that’s closer to a real sativa and you’re fixated on ACE, go for their Honduran line.

Im not familiar with Aces stuff really. I really want a malawi or something of the sort. I am interested in landrace stuff.

For me, ACE has nothing to do with fast food or anything similar.
As I said before, I’ve followed dozens of reports on ACE strains. I think I’m much less critical than you are.
Have you already tried these strains from ACE, or are you just referring to reports you’ve seen online? Like me.
I maintain that you can get great sativas from ACE. At an attractive price, with extensive information about the strains and what has been done with them, including analyses of terpenes and cannabinoids.
If you are looking for original, pure landraces, you might be better off elsewhere.
As an indoor grower, I’m also pleased that ACE has already put some work into the strains to make it easier for me to grow them.
However, I can live with us disagreeing here and you certainly have a lot more experience with landraces than I do.

Nothing wrong with ACE. Does there have to be this debate at every mention of them? They are what the are and have done a lot for the community in the transition years between fully illegal and slightly legal times. They were there when no-one else was offering anything. We can’t just forget all that. I’ve grown their Moroccan and Khalifas version looked more Indica yet people on here tell me different because they just know.

Maybe he needs to smoke your Panama bc hes crazy if he says its an indica hybrid. I still think he does it for the reactions bc it entertains him. Im positive its a gimmick now so he can get a good laugh.

People get funny when it comes to seed sellers. Half the posters think a certain breeder is a saint, another faction thinks the same person is the devil.I guess moving forward i will leave the breeders name out of it.

The haze debate is fairly contentious. There is a sizable chunk of the population that believes if it doesn’t take 14w+ it’s not a haze let alone a sativa.
Let the smoke speak for itself. If you like it’s effects, keep growing it.

You don’t need to be ripped off in order to have an opinion on their seed lines. They aren’t as forthcoming about the fact that their “landrace” seeds are generally crossed with shorter flowering indicas. Malawi gold doesn’t finish flower in ten weeks.
For people who don’t have the ability to do 20 week flowering varieties, they may choose to go with a cross just to get some of the effects. But it shouldn’t be marketed as that specific landrace.
They’ve made some things more accessible and spread some good info about landraces which is good.
But have also not been clear in some ways - and that plus commercializing these strains that need protecting/preservation, have placed things on a potentially slippery slope.

Ya i hear you on that front and agree with you. But dang he bashes them all day long, and they come off as very helpful and nice on there own forums. Now if they were jackasses thatd be different. Its probably more of him rubbing me wrong than bashing ace too. I like ace and dubi they have always been super friendly and nice to me.

I still have the Kali China, Kali China C5, and Guawi (Old Malawi Killer x Tikal (F5) peach,mango incensey pheno). All feminised.
Just order some, my Malawi cross was a freebie. They have 25% on several haze strains now.
