CBG is Cannabiogen.
Cannabiogen was created by Kaiki (Charlie Garcia).
Charlie helped Dubi get his start and they started ACE as a team.
Charlie was also in a Spanish breeders collective (Vibes) and forum. Those other members told me Dubi screwed over Charlie and that’s why Charlie quit the seed game. Recently, Heirloomwizard has recanted that.

Vibes members have been “hating” on Dubi since the start and you can see 20 years of exposing the truth by them over on ICMag.
However, once Dubi became a paid sponsor at ICMag, he had the mods sift through ICMag to delete most of those posts, to include banning most all the Vibes members who exposed Dubi.
What remains in those threads are just glowing reports of Dubi 's strains.
Since then, there have been many Dubi apologists who attack anyone who calls out or even hints at Dubi being deceitful or even just hinting that ACE strains are not pure landraces. They’re not, they’re almost all F3 - F6 and beyond.

And Dubi is not a breeder but a brilliant businessman.
The claims that ACE is a collective come from the fact that that’s how it started off, then Dubi subcontracted local growers to white label his seeds for him.
None of the original breeders have gotten credit or payment, causing some of them to leave the game entirely. This is what Tropical Seed Co did to Jah Green Label and others and nobody jumped on anyone for exposing that. But expose ACE and Dubi and for some reason you get called a hater.

Forums are about information and hanging out while trying and sharing genetics. So lambasting anyone for saying hey this Malawi ended up purple and had a narcotic high is more ridiculous than going to every thread and saying hey those sativa’s maybe aren’t what you’re looking for - you know, sharing information and helping a prospective buyer from experiencing buyers remorse.

Dubi isn’t here trading seeds.
If he were, screw it, if the seeds ain’t what he says they are - bad trade and be done with it.
But instead he’s selling seeds. And for a pretty high price.
And not only that, those sales don’t get split with the people who actually bred the strains or want on Safari’s and collected the P1 seeds.
And, he pays forums to maintain his squeaky clean image while banning anyone who would expose the truth.
So instead of asking why all the hate for Dubi, ask why all the apologists who attack anyone who even suggests it’s not a company worth paying for.

Thanks for your opinion based tutorial on Ace and recently I paid $25 for a fem mix pack and was pretty damn impressed with the genetics in terms of stability and variety. Have I spent painstaking hours and hours sifting through cannabis forums on Ace? Hell no and yeah some of the strains are a little pricey for my taste but so is CSI and pretty much every name brand. I was looking for nice sativas and found them simple as that.

People keep talking about these forum posts that they never show or substantiate. Archive.org is there to help you.

Well anyone that doesnt want their Ace seeds send them my way ill happily grow them. Will be interesting comparing the cbg vs ace. Think the ace has haze added.

Besides if i judged every breeders ethics and half truths i wouldnt have anything to grow. There all in it for $ lets not forget that ace is no diffrent. Plus very very few seed sellers give out packs here besides bluestarseeds (josh blue). Hes just cool af

I wanna say that the mextiza male use led had some nl in it from posts I’ve heard to stabilize it in doors.

But I’ve also heard that the Oaxaca 79 isn’t exactly pure either. I believe kushy man the one who preserved it and gave it to ace crosses it with an afghan at some point. I know you don’t care. I just like saying what I’ve heard of you were thinking a full sativa experience. @nick131740

Ya i havent followed cbg in years. Cant remember much about them other than their offerings. No im not growing these for purity or breeding so doesnt bother me if it has some nl in it. 1 guy here just harvested the '79 it looks very nice.

Well i can only say the ace panama haze is incredible stuff. So props to cbg or whoever originally made it.

Are you saying every breeder is an unethical liar?

No but many lie about their genetics and where they sourced them etc. Anyway im not posting anymore ace here. Too much drama for me.

All i did was post some seeds i was excited about then it turned into this.

I guess that’s a big benefit of sites like this so we can weed out (if you’ll pardon the pun) the truth from the bullshit.

Liars and cheats don’t necessarily sell bad beans but people should be informed with the truth before comitting time and money to purchasing and growing some of these genetics.

Good point overgrow.com is a great source for information no doubt. And im not upset btw just don’t wanna argue with anybody about why im growing something. Mine are repros anyway

I am excited for you, I’m sure they will be great.

Make sure to hold on to some of it for 6-9 months and it will really start to shine.

I have run their Panama, it’s definitely a hybridized, watered down version of the real deal. I’ve also tried multiple versions of the Golden Tiger, which should be rebranded as Golden Afghan  or PGR Tiger

What i smoked was panama haze never grown/ smoked regular panama so cant comment on that. The regular panamas are cannabiogen…No clue on theirs either. But like i said i love it and thats all that matters bc im the one smoking it.

If i wanted a untouched panama i guess id go with the real seed co they have nice genetics too. Seen a few good logs at icm. Not much over here though i never see them mentioned. Didnt snowhigh offer a panama red?

I grew 'Panama Red from Anesia seeds and it was absolutely notnthe real deal. Think it finished in 9-10 weeks. It was ok smoke but not Panama Red

The cbg Cannabiogen might be better . Same line worked differently than dubi did. More wild.

Oh okay cool thanx. I imagine its impossible to find the old panama red from the 70s. Always described as a spacey narcotic red eyed high. Inferior to Acapulco gold and thai so they said.
