You should not have to wait. Cannabis is a mild drug has less negative side effects that most of our socially accepted drugs. Booze, nicotine, and even caffeine are more dangerous. I thought we would be past this prohibition in the last century. I live in WA and am thankful for the progressive people who voted for legalization in 2012. Change is happening fast and the Hemp farm bill will make it change even faster, but not fast enough.

Also they do test their seed (I am a seed tester for them…) From all the seed i’ve tested (50+) , I’ve came accros 2 Herms…

Their first Run of Runtz seed wasn’t good and they replace every single order with new one if you contacted them.

Like any other brands , when your making fem seed there’s higher chance to get Herm … ( I’ve run , Exotic Genetics , Seed Junky Genetics , Elev8 , In House Genetics and many more , i’ve found at least 1 herms per breeder if not more depending on the breeder…)

Sure, off the top of my head:

• They’re selling their “Alien Otto” which is a mephisto toofless alien x “elev8 breeding auto”. Toofless alien is an F3 cross of two F6 strains bred by mephisto genetics. It’s the result of at least 15 generations of breeding and selection by them. Alien Otto is some F1(F2 if we’re being honest) repro, which is the result of one generation of breeding by Elev8. They’re capitalizing on work done by another breeder. I also don’t believe that they have a breeding auto they’re not willing to name or sell seeds for; in all likelihood that’s just a repro they’re selling at a higher price than the seeds straight from Mephisto.

• Which is part of the larger problem, their entire catalog is just F1 crosses of other breeders’ work. They don’t do any selection of offspring or stabilization/working of their own lines to later filial generations, they just make the cross and sell it. Buying cuts does not make you a breeder. There are people on this forum (in this thread, even!) that do the same amount of work, or even more, and aren’t trying to pass off the results for the same price as breeders who work their lines, or at the very least perform some selection and develop their own lines using selected F1 offspring.

If you read my earlier posts, my main problem is that they’re just sourcing a cut, making the F1, selling the packs for $60-80+. That’s why they’re chuckers and not breeders.

• I never dealt with Auto or their Auto seed collection so I wouldn’t know on that side.

• I understand what you are saying , but in these day that’s what most big name in the game do too unfortunately . But I do understand your point on they don’t really have a “Home Made strain” to start with and then used others Cut to breed with. So yeah in some way it is pollen chucking.

(I wasn’t really seen it like this but yeah , for me a pollen chucker is those dollar a seed kinda guy , that have a new variety every week and somehow they all the Hype strain and nothing to backup their claim.)

( I also have a couple of seed from breeder on this forum I do support personal breeder too Mongo Bongo is the last one breeder from here I grew stuff and it was amazing !!! )

I get that most breeders are going to work with other people’s stuff. Hell, if Elev8 hooked me up with free seeds I’d run them because I don’t doubt that they’re made with cuts of strains I’d be happy to run.

I do think even the people who don’t work their own lines will at least do some selection of the F1s. They’re still doing all polyhybrid F1s but at least there’s some selection going on that you’re ostensibly paying for. For example, tiki pretty much fits the bill of new strains all the time and almost all F1s, but he does seem to at least hunt some of his own stuff and incorporate it into later crosses e.g. (forbidden zkittlez x sunset sherbet) = zkittles bomb being crossed into (zkittlez bomb x trop cherry) = pink zkittles. That’s not an endorsement of tiki, btw, I’ve never run his stuff and the seedbanks he works with are kind of a turn off (Neptune, platinum, nucleus, healthy made)

Yeah , lately I’ve been growing some Solfire Garden strain… I am really impress by Him … everything that he sells is as advertise (Frost , smell , taste you read from his seed pack if on POINT ! ) he test his stuff before releasing it and his full super helpful and responsive if any question or any problem.

Tiki seem to know what he’s doing and like you said used his own cross in other works so make him a bit more legit , but pricey since he’s part of the “Hype breeder/grower” …
