Aloha all!
has anyone come across a strain of plant that has indica effect that will do well in mold prone area? that is purchasable 
i live in hawaii and grow under plastic roof outside.
so any stains that are calming, couch locky, that are good in high humidity would greatly appreciated!
It really comes down to the particular pheno.I lose most of my plants due to it. I lost most of a strain due to it with the runts currently thriving.

Drgreensleeves early Iranian cross i believe the keepers are nl5 he crossed with. Currently have two survivor’s and three sour diesel clones i was given.

I have an early Iranian also, just not mold resistant. It’s super fast though. Lobstah handed out a bunch of them in the New England thread
I do not, i just know that he crossed it to gelato and nl5. When it cones to everything phenos are as important as the strains.Some phenos will die off due to it meanwhile others will thrive.
Your climate is best suited for sativas. If I were you, I would start a breeding project. Cross a sativa with an indica, and selectively breed the most mold resistant plants. You have a better chance of making a stony hybrid that will acclimate to the humidity in your region.
Probably only take 5-7 years for the strain to start adapting.
I’d consider strains like Malawi, kona gold is a heirloom.
You can get good local genetics from 86genetics, mahalogrows, or hawaii_grow_cannabis_llc.
You could check out Dragon’s Flame Genetics. He breeds for outdoor and used to live in Hawaii and has plants that should be suited to the climate.
Oh I can double down on this, his Dragon’s Stash and Orange Stash did great out here for a number of years in people’s yards.

i have had terrible luck with dragon flame genetics… i bought 4 packs from GLG and not one his of the beans popped. worst luck i ever had. i pop seeds all year long, both home made and bought seeds and this is the only breeder this happened with.
Bummer to hear, I’m still holding a pack from a big seed run that was for everyone between here and Guam. I haven’t popped any since 2020 so I’m not sure if mine are good still either.

The Hawaii cannabis expo happens every year now.
Going and getting cuts would be the best move to make.
I live in a more humid area than Hawaii and have had success with Granddaddy purple and white rhino. They are both heavy hitters that do well for me. Also sluricane, banana kush, critical+ 2.0. Also, any autoflower I run seems to do fine especially mephisto genetics.
