Looking for real blue dream

Okay so latley ive breen craving some blue dream. However i only want the real one not one of these purple knock offs. Anybody still holding her? I can trade or whatever for it. The real one always has a middle finger sticking up for reference on the colas.

Fwiw i want this one pictured here i call it the real one, think its called santa cruz today. Has sativa leaves silver buds not purple like the ones i see latley. Im not in a medical state or id just got to my local clone walmart lol. Even a blue dream hybrid id consider if it was a haze one. I get its cool to say your burned out on dream, but ill happily say its my top 3 all time.

Im growing a bunch of bb x hazes for something similar, but figured id ask too. :sunglasses:

She is still around, I’m not one to send things through the mail or I’d help you out but if you look around I’m sure a few people have her besides me.
I’m not sure when the Santa Cruz tag got added but it was just called blue dream from day one.
I’m also not sure if the cut people are calling that is the original as I’ve never seen one in person called that and I have held her for over 15 years.
We were told before most had seen or heard of blue dream that is was super silver haze /blueberry but I’ve read people saying it’s silver haze/blueberry
I’m very confident it’s ssh/bb.

What I have is

Blue Dream (GEN 1)
Santa Cruz cut Blueberry x Super Silver Haze
by D.J. Short

Yep, lol and still is. the clone conservatory sourced an original genetics BD from DJ Short and grew it out in their petri dishes to make GEN1 clones, which I purchased a little over a year ago, along with several other GEN 1 clones. It is a mother plant for me.
Actually the timing is closer two years ago now. In Feb be two years.

I had it back in the day, the real deal clone and made my own crosses with it…

We had it growing when we were commercial, but it got away from us. Glad to have it back, love that strain!

The same as we do

I’ll post some pictures later but I’ve had this cut for a very long time and know the people personally who made it known to the world. It was handed to us by a large name in the scene back then but it was not dj short and it came out of Northern California.
Can anybody show a post where it is claimed to have come from dj short ?
I see that his site references it now that he has made azure haze but I’ve never seen it before in reference to him making the cross.

Go to thecloneconservatory.com and ask em for the provenance
For them to lay claim to that and not be so, opens them up to fraud charges

There are probably hundreds of folks around the world that have the SC cut of BD, lol IT IS a very popular plant!

thecloneconservatory.com has a very good rep for their clones, and are proud of that rep. They also have very good reviews. i trust em, for what it’s worth

They claim a lot of things at that place.
You should check out the thread about them if you haven’t yet.
Fraud charges related to strain origins from a time when things were not being documented is unrealistic, also just because somebody files a trademark and might own a name does not mean they are the original source. Not saying anybody has done that yet with bluedream but it happening with others.
I don’t need to hear some new online clone vendors version of history I was there in the middle of it all from when only a small group had blue dream to when trays of clones started getting sold , against everybody else in the groups desires. The flood of blue dream packs and the decline in popularity.
Hardly anybody kept it and then it came back around being called the Santa Cruze blue dream , it’s only ever been called blue dream from day one.

True to an extent. I doubt you’ll find ANY company that hasn’t gotten some kind of bad-mouthing! lol Like I said, I trust em, and that’s good enough for me.
@Heritagefarms let’s just agree to disagree, lol

That’s great! Glad for ya, it had to be some fun times! That still doesn’t mean tcc couldn’t have gotten the genetics

I haven’t had any complaints, personally. Like I said, I doubt there are any companies that don’t get bad-mouthed. But it makes no diff any more tbh, lol I’m not buying anything from anyone any more, since I’m just marking time (docs gave me the ‘any time now’ talk) especially since the fall breaking hip followed by the heart attack 12 hrs later (in hospital) they want to operate on my heart to replace the aorta valve and install a pacemaker. But at 75, I feel I’ve lived a full happy life and will take what the creator see fit to leave me with! lol

I have this one.

It seems to have the middle finger you’re talking about.
I tend to buy feminised seeds because I’m pushed for space, so I grow a couple but I’m happy to share a couple of spares if it’s what you’re looking for.

A good friend of mine is starting a reversal of the Blue Dream cut from Archive as we speak. Won’t have seeds until Jan - He’s making a ton of crosses with it too, including some BXs with crosses he’s made from that cut. If you can’t seem to source anything stay in the loop with me and I can see about getting some to you.

Good luck with your search…really hope you find what you’re looking for…I did notice people mentioning they were burned out on Blue Dream, NOT ME!!! Still love Blue Dream even after much use of it years back…again, good luck…you got this!!!

You guys are on a roll

Although i was one of those who was burnt out on the Blue Dream around 20 yrs ago after running through pks of it for years, I can say it is one of the most unique strains out there from the taste, high, smell of it burning, to the massive colas it throws down.
