Hey ya’ll, after lurking for a bit I’ve finally decided I want to make a little corner for myself to live on this site. Here you can expect to see whatever cannabis related activities I may be up to at the moment wether that be growing or making art. As a newbie grower I welcome all constructive criticism and feedback. All art I post here will be of my own creation without the use of any sort of generative AI. I respectfully ask that other members refrain from reposting or reusing my work in any way without permission to better help protect my intellectual property, thank you!
I’m very interested in Mutants, land races, genetic preservation, and tend to grow without a large regard for THC percentages or yield! I’m also interested in organic growing and living soil. I’m a weed loving Gen Z from Socal and am pleased to meet you.
I’m currently studying abroad, but I do have some janky little photos my sister sent me. Right here I have some of my first grows. The large plant is Cappuccino by LIT. The smaller plant right next to it is purple punch auto. The leggy little seedlings are some nepalese multipurpose landraces while the smaller, slow growing one is an afghan mystery landrace. The tiniest little fucked up looking sprout at the bottom of the first photo is my baby freakshow ! Super excited for that one
Hey @Low.Poly , welcome to Overgrow!
We’ve got landraces and freaks galore here…… Looking forward to seeing your work
Cheers

Welcome to OG, @Low.Poly!
Truer words have likely never been spoken. I’ll also mention that there’s a lot of crazy weed grown here as well.
Welcome @Low.Poly ! Nice art friend , you’re gonna love it here.
Welcome bud. Thanks for those sick pictures! Have fun abroad.
Welcome to OG.
Circle of influence expands
Newbie pollen chuckers unite >:3
What up @Low.Poly? Welcome
Welcome to OG @Low.Poly
Oh, thanks so much for the pictures! They are amazing. Traveling to other places, and experiencing other cultures is a must, at least once in life!
Welcome @Low.Poly . You will love it here!
Welcome and glad we get a true artist, this IA “style” you can recognize everywhere now is not my cup of tea either.
I’m very grateful for the privilege to travel to another country to learn more about art history, but wow do I miss my plants… Florence is awesome but I’m very much not a huge city enjoyer. Witnessing pollution makes me sad. My sister is trying her best to care for them while I’m gone but I’ve already lost 3 auto seedlings… Here’s a doodle
Btw thanks to everyone for the warm welcome. I already am enjoying my time here lurking on the sidelines. I’m excited to start producing my own seeds so I can start participating in all the trading/sharing. I recently ordered some 80’s Durban poison seeds from loveoflandrace …. Super excited for that. I love the way it looks.
I got a question! Why link rot? I know it refers to when your web page links to other pages that go offline, or change the link, so the link you used it now a 404 not found. hah hah just got curious about it when I saw the name.
Well I think a lot about art and media preservation as a history fan and the term “link rot” stood out to me both because of its technical meaning around dead links as well as the biological implications that “rot” entails. My personal website that’s under construction being linkrot.online is also like an oxymoron to a degree. As a predominately digital artist, the term just spoke to me for some reason. It’s edgy, it’s ironic, it’s relevant. Nothing lasts forever!
Also not to bore tf out of you with my rambling but I like to work a lot with dichotomy or theme contrasts in my artwork in general. “Link rot” sounding both digital and biological is fun to me.
