No idea, but I came here to say that sounds amazing. I had a stunted plant look like this and wish I could do it again.

The original Lowryder is reputed to be a diverse three-way crossing of Mexican ruderalis, Northern Lights #2, and William’s Wonder. The result was the world’s first reliable autoflowering cannabis strain with just an 8-week complete lifecycle.

Potency is mild, with THC levels hovering around 10%. it will make for a very mellow, beginner-friendly experience. Don’t expect a couchlock here, but a mild buzz.

Lowryder is a hardy robust ruderalis that can be easily cultivated indoors in small spaces or outdoors in southern climates from Spring to Autumn. Beginner growers can gain valuable grow-op experience and crop a decent stash fast with Lowryder. Seeds produce small-sized plants will produce around 1oz/28g a piece.

a hybrid strain that was inbred for nine generations by Joint Doctor Seeds to give it a dwarfed size. Growing no more than 16 inches tall, it’s the cannabis equivalent of a bonsai for the discrete grower’s windowsill or balcony. Lowryder’s small size comes from a species of cannabis ruderalis crossed with [Northern Lights #2 and then [William’s Wonder]. Consumers, be patient with this strain: its medicinal and cerebrally stimulating effects have a slow but powerful onset. A mild earthy aroma radiates from the small, conic buds which autoflower in a short 40 to 45 days. Lowryder is a stalwart plant that can survive in harsh, colder climates, making it a popular strain in northern regions like Finland and Canada.

If you are interested in Lowrider, you should check out Dyvider, a cross made by the illustrious
@ReikoX !

If I remember, it is a cross of (Delicious Seeds) La Diva auto and Lowrider.

There may be seeds available, I grew it around 4-5 years ago.
I was surprised by how nice the buds were, delightfully potent and tasty.

eta; the plants are quite small

I recently looked all over for some small autos and finally found Aferthought Autos. They are regs, though, not sure that he sells any fems.

I have some Lowryder #2 for anyone skilled at growing autos and committed to repopulating. Can’t recall how many, but I’d say it’s around a half dozen  I think @Sebring did them…

did you see the Todd McCormick interview where he says it’s not ruderalis? he says it was a hemp variety called Finola.

Whats up mates

I like this project, lowryder is a very well done work. Yeah @OrganicallyChalenged, my first experiente growing was w/ those too :grinning:, I used diesel ryder and easy ryder, also w/CFL in a paper box, somewhere around 13 or 15 years ago I loved the fuel of the DR

@DivineVerdance there is a trick on the history of this strain…looks like at a certain point the breeder Sasha started calling the lowryder #2 just lowryder, forgeting the original lowryder…and I understood that you are talking about the original lowryder, not the #2 that became 1…am I right? I didnt know the lineage of It…this story I brought is overhere on their site:

Do you remembers the smell n flavor of those pls, @Calyxander?

The lowryder #2 is a Very interesting strain for me, specially because of the santa maria on its Cross, but I am not that experienced to assume It. So I hope some good soul show up for the drive haha

Cheers✌️

I believe it’s low Ryder #2 that really made people take notice and it was used as the auto component in many many photo to auto conversions.

Such a biased and misguided take…Not in regards to ruderalis, but in regards to autos.

i am not willing to watch it again, but i could have sworn somewhere in there he made a point about it getting autos mixed into photo genome. He said it on some weird way, but that might be a valid point.

Maybe it is good that it is not too common to see people crossing autos to make regs.
I am thinking about cookies and all the crosses…and all the hate.

Auto are improving every year, even the white label stuff is pretty good and capable of producing great plants and buds no one would discern from photos. That video is probably pretty old…

I’ve breed 50+ with reg strains, people don’t make them because most don’t buy them

I like autos well enough, but I don’t see the point of one that goes 90 days or more.

i recall this in a thing about squatty plants and keep thinkin its dyin to marry casper og and start a miniature cannabis revolution, soon single dose plants will rule untill the tree hugger crys about the planned obsolete stroll taken away from sanity and i believe the lack of tiny farmers was a thing…
