LST for hormone reallocation?

I saw a post on another forum that talked about moving the growing hormones from the main shoot to the lower shoots by bending the main shoot lower than the secondaries.
What would the results be for the secondary shoots? How long would you need to hold the main shoot lower than the secondary shoots?

Until the secondaries start outgrowing the main shoot.
Then the colas will all be very similar in size.

Can’t really fuck up LST, you can adjust it any time you want.

But know that a main stem that was bent completely horizontal for a few weeks can also stand back up straight after one or two days when you release it.

If you want the main stem to stay where you want you can soften it by gently but firmly crushing between your thumb and forefinger at the bend point, which will alow the stem to fall over so it can be secured in position. Its called Supercropping and can be applied to any side branch too.

They will grow taller. I have secondary shoots that have outgrown the main one.

Don’t think too much about it - just tie them down any way that feels right :+1:

:point_up_2: This right here!

These plants are amazing and will let you bend them in all kinds of ways…
Man, I am going to have to have another

after reading that last sentence.
Anyway, This is what I meant. :arrow_double_down:

Do this quite often, pretty hard to mess up actually, once the apical dominance of the main shoot is broken and the others have broken the plane, it’s already done it’s job, I tie them down for a couple days after snapping/popping the stem with rubber plant ties. As mentioned they will stand right back up even when snapped if not held down. I find if I top, then a little HST and LST and proper lollipop ping you can harvest strictly tops
