Nice root pic! There are even some fuzzy hairs in there if you look closely! Do you have micro spray nozzles burried in there somewhere?
Very interesting way to do the scrog. I dont think Ive seen anyone else do it this way. Im very curious to see how the stretch effects this and how the side shoots develop now that the stems are bent over.
I have always started the scrog screen very early in veg. I usually start when the baby is maybe 6" to 8" tall with a FIM or two, then immediately begin bending and LST. By the time the plant is maybe 10" tall at most, I put the screen in place and start working the plant under the screen. I continue that for most of the veg cycle until the screen is maybe 70-75% full, then switch to 12/12. I continue training part way into stretch until the screen is full.
I messed up this time and stopped training too soon, so my screen isnt quite full and the shoots are getting too tall. I may have to add some more strings/netting to keep the tallest ones from falling over.
She looks very happy - as you would expect with roots that look that good!
