Hi,
does anyone own one of those? Over here in Europe they are outrageously expensive for such a little bit of glass. I thought about bringing one from the US. However, they are still expensive there, but only half the price. So, I would like to know if anyone of you uses one of them together with a Storz&Bickel Volcano (Hybrid).
According to Magma’s website there are several options - the XL, Regular, Sapphire etc. Also, there is the bag adapter. Can anyone elaborate if this is really worth the money and which one to go for? XL or Sapphire or just regular? Do you need the bag adapter?
This is the website I got some of the info from: Replacement Volcano Parts | Storz & Bickel Parts | 18mm & 14mm Magma Adapter | Vaporizer For Smoking

I’ve heard people say they’re awesome, I have a volcano hybrid and I considered getting one but I decided against it.
I have a flowerpot so I can just use that if I want to run my vaporizer through water, and I usually don’t take enough puffs to get that much discomfort from the vapor, but if you find it hard to enjoy your volcano it can be a good option I think.
There are some other adapters you can get that let you use it with other glass pieces too, I think potv makes one.
I am really big on vaporizers, I have a few haha

Thanks. After a little more research I decided to get a Sapphire from the States. Yes, I like them “bubblers”. I have a Wolkenkraft Äris (very nice small handheld with a bubbler). Since I got that I hardly use my Hybid any more. I would like to use it again but there is too much coughing involved compared to the Wolkenkraft. Before that I had a Boundless Tera - a piece of junk. Two of them had to be replaced because the power switch always broke after minimal use. It is a good thing my dealer gave me the Wolkenkraft as a replacement, totally happy with that one. And even better with the bubbler on top.

Right on! I think you will be happy with it, I’ve heard good things about them, I agree the volcano can definitely be harsh, it’s a very dry vaporizer.
That Aris looks like a really cool vaporizer, I’ve never heard of the wolkenkraft brand before, I looked it up though and they sound really neat, I might have to try one out in the future. It seems a lot of great vaporizers are made over in Europe.
I was looking at the tafee bowle 2 aswell but they are quite pricy, I guess it’s the same guy who did minivap which had lots of great reviews. The form factor is a bit funny, but it comes apart from the glass so you can use it more like a normal vaporizer.
Hope you enjoy the sapphire!

I am pretty sure the Wolkenkraft Äris and the improved W. Äris Ultra are made in China, like everything nowadays.
I just checked with Chat GPT and they say it is most probably the same or very similar to the Utillian 620 or 621. Yep, it looks VERY similar and is most probably a rebranded one.
I think this is way better value for money than the S&B Mighty etc. I also like the dosing capsules. They are really nicely made, way better than the S&B ones. However, they only hold about 0.1g max. Which is enough IMO if you are using the Aquavape3 bubbler. https://www.vapowelt.de/Stationaere-Vaporizer/Arizer-XQ2-Extreme-Q-2/AquaVape-Bubbler-Wasserfilter-2-teilig::2391.html The capsules are a bit trickier to fill but I am sure they last very long with their sturdy screw-on caps. The Aquavape3 is sold under the name HydraTube apparently, although that name is probably used for other bubblers as well. Female 14mm HYDRATUBE Water TOOL Pipe Bubbler Glass filter Attachment with cap | eBay . When I first used it, I could not believe how little water fits in there. Put it aside and later came back to it. Now I almost always use it. You need a cheap adapter for that, though. With that thing I get a nice buzz with less than 0.1g, which hasn’t happened for a long while. With my Hybrid I put in 0.5 and more grams towards the end of my using it and only got a similar buzz from that … Couldn’t believe it before I tried it.
The Äris/Utillian is really easy to clean. However, there is a filter mesh in it that constantly needs cleaning. Easy to do, just soak it in isopropyl alcohol for a minute and take it back out after about 10 to 15 sessions. I bought a few extra ones so I don’t have to do it every time. I really like the fact that the heating elements are not in the part directly below the capsules that needs to be cleaned like in other vaporizers. It is so easy to pull a pipe cleaner, small brush or whatever through the thing and it is entirely clean again.
This is my setup for the Äris. When I go out to a concert, for example, I use it without the bubbler but that rarely happens. Sorry for the OT but I think it might be helpful while we are talking about it.
BTW, I asked Magma and they said the “Bag Adapter” is not needed if you order the Sapphire or Obsidian.
