Had this same problem, with my last grow, and now looks like it’s happening again.
I’m growing in a living soil that I thought was complete.
I have her under 200w of led at 41 inches.

A bit of cal mag can’t hurt
Perhaps it’s the picture but I don’t see a problem.
That is a usual thing that I have experienced and seen throughout different indoor LED runs
For what I do understand the lack of green or the difference in spectrum compared to other luminaries and specially the sun one change metabolism and the demand of micro and macronutrients, that is what makes the most sense to me.
Also the brightness per square meter or better said the DLI on LED being much intense than other light sources speeds up the growth rate hence consuming nutrients on your soil faster moreover if you’re doing just water.
If your fitting doesn’t have IR spectrum it also affects the heat on the leaf surface decreasing transpiration and absorption of Cal Mag too
I grow in recycled re-amended living soil. Whenever I transplant my seedlings or clones into bigger pots and give them a couple weeks to adjust I usually see the same thing. It goes away after a while, but in my opinion, it’s lacking a little magnesium. I don’t ever add Epson salt to my water or anything, eventually it goes away. I just chalk it up to my dechlorinated tapwater eventually providing enough magnesium for my plants. Either that or my top dressings I do every three weeks with a little bit of Recharge or EWC helping fix the issue. I hope this helps man.
How many lumens are you using
LITFA and chill ![]()
what is the ph of your water/ feed
It looks fine man, but if in doubt, maybe give it a little kelp extract. That’s my goto fixet elixir because it’s almost impossible to overdo it and it makes everything grow better.
Give it 1ml of calmag per litre of watering as you are using tap water. Just as a preventive measure. Some plants can show that fan leave discoloration in the first 3 weeks but the next branches will be better.
I use calmag to minimize this from happening and it work out well. the first 3 weeks is only water so that’s why I have that on that timing.
Yeah it’s fine haha what are you people talking about?
If you zoom in on the leaves there’s a slight white tiger striping visible. Which looks similar to the stage 1 calcium or magnesium deficiency.
Or maybe it’s the led lights thing. Idk
Thanks for all the replies.
I gave her an epsom foliar last night.
I checked the soil PH, and it was 6.8.
Maybe the soil hasn’t cooked long enough? 1/3 of my soil is worm castings, so there is magnesium/calcium in there.
your ph is good
either your soil lacks mg, in this case 0.3g of epsom salt per liter will solve it
either some minerals are in excess in your soil and blocks the absorption of mg
I already encountered this with mineral nutrition
It certainly isn’t light bleaching with 200w at 41" above canopy, new growth looks fine, probably just hungry.
False alarm, I guess.
Been another four days and the issue hasn’t gotten any worse. In fact, the plant is thriving.
I’m happy to see your plant is happy. I love how these little things just seem to work themselves out and truck on over the speed bumps.
Hey @Mattman i dmd you brother looking for something for another member
