Making Feminized Seeds, Cuban Doll Strain. I spray these with colloidal silver 3 - 4 times a day. I am going to flower them after a week of this spraying. I spray them with Silver Thiosulfate once every 5 days. I don’t spray these plants with Colloidal Silver on the days that I spray them with Silver Thiosulfate just before lights off. Per the Omega Genetix instructions for these sprays that I bought from them.

That sounds like a gross number of chemical applications. 
Are you spraying both plants?

I agree with blowdout2269 3-4x a day is wild. STS alone every 3-5 days at a low concentration usually does the trick.

There are actually 3 plants in that tent. That number of sprays is how much the instruxtions say to spray.

I might try that if this doesn’t work. The instructions for this particular brand say to spray that number of times. Do you have a particular brand of STS that you recommend that I can buy on amazon.com?

I make my own. It’s super cheap to just make a batch. And I basically have STS for life!
I’ve been giving it away before it goes bad, lol.
My stock solution jar is dated April of 2023. And it very much still works. I thank proper storage.

Whoa! Are they gonna be able to be used as photo paper with that much silver?! Lol
Jokes aside that does seem like a lot and i soak my plants in sts every 3 days for 2 weeks when im reversing.

Thanks for the advice. I ordered some Silver Nitrate and Sodium Thiosulfate off of amazon.com Save some money by mixing my own.

I belive that I ordered from Home Science Tools. Think I was less than $50 for everything, including the distilled water and jars that I bought locally.
This made roughly 800+ml of STOCK solution.
To put that into perspective - 50ml of this, mixed with 450ml of distilled water, will make a large batch of FINISHED solution.
Oh yes. And we like that! 
FWIW, I will do my first spray approximately five days before the start of flower. Then again every five days, for a total of five treatments. So far, this has never failed me with this mixture. Pretty sure that I just got it with three on the one I’m doing now, but I went ahead with my routine anyways.

Dissolve pouch 1 (1.58g Sodium Thiosulfate) in 100 mL water to create a 0.1M stock solution
Dissolve pouch 2 (1.7g Silver Nitrate) in 100 mL water to create a 0.1M stock solution.
Prepare 0.02M (20mM) Silver Thiosulfate by adding 20 mL 0.1 M silver nitrate into 80 mL 0.1M sodium thiosulfate (or amounts in ration of 4 parts thiosulfate solution to 1 part silver nitrate solution).
Store up to 30 days refrigerated (best to use fresh each time).
Store in the dark. STS can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a month. However, it is best when made just prior to use, as it will oxidize quickly.
Dilute this solution with 3x the amount of ml to get 5mM.

Anyone looking for components also check out traditional photography suppliers.
We use both components in photography so you can often get them in bulk cheaper than amazon. Helpful as well if you pool in the split the costs.

I got my supplies from a lab some years ago. I think I spent about 60.00 for all the chemicals. I got enough product that I can make gallons of sts spray. I highly recommend buying the ingredients to make the sts spray rather than buying premixed sts supplies if you plan to reverse plants in the future.

I’ve been spraying with colloidal silver 3 - 4 times a day for the past 7 days. I’ve been spraying silver thiosulfate every 5 days. Im flipping to flower today. Everything is going going good so far. I still have 5 or 6 more strains to make feminized seeds from after this run. Thank you all for your advice and support! Cannabis karma to all!!!

I’ve only been spraying the right side of the tent with Colloidal Silver. Day 11 of flowering the right side. I’m hoping that these male pollen sacs develop soon…
Some of the pistils that ive been spraying with Colloidal Silver are turning more amber colored…I’ve read online that this is normal…hoping for some male pollen sacs soon…
